All of this. They've written themselves into a corner. There is no villain. John's the goddamn governor now, the Indians can't do shite, ME is basically gone back to NY. The main villain right now is...Jamie and governmental machinations. That's a whole slew of cheeks. Walking Dead syndrome. Makes too much money to kill someone to bring actual tension, and makes too much money to take chances with storylines.

Yellowstone season 5 will have 14 episodes, but the season will be split into two parts of 7 episodes. The first 2 episodes of season 5 part 1 premiered on Sunday, November 13, at 8 pm ET. Episode 3 premiered on November 20, episode 4 on November 27 and episode 5 on December 4.
Part two of the remaining 7 episodes has no official release date.

As stupid as it was, the one positive for this episode to me was how they portrayed the federal government in an accurate light.
Shooting pets is very on brand for how things are done by this administration.

well im barely holding on, because the first few seasons were so great, i loved the show and got hooked on it. we have a group get together with friends coming over to watch it every week for the last 3 seasons.
but then now, with each new season, its getting pretty bad and its harder to stay interested in this thing.
so far this season, we are all looking around at each other, saying why are we even still watching this crap

Season 4 was a total mess. It’s as if they totally forgot there was a season 3.
Season 5 is only slightly better than 4, but still lacks any kind of real direction or focus as to storyline or who is the villain other than “they want your land, daddy.”

Totally agree- the dialogue is a cringefest. They have given the one singer dude about 4 lines this season. And that new chick is absolutely awful- sorry, fellas- I know she's a home state product.
