I’d say by most metrics pulling a gun and firing on children is considered going into bad guy realm.

These weren't regular "children". From a government intelligence agency perspective, they were just as much of a threat as an adult. Hell, in Vietnam kids would walk right up to soldiers and pull the pin on a grenade and the Muslims use kids as suicide bombers.

Good point. I've only seen the movie once so I don't remember all the details.

I think the biggest thing that needs to be addressed from the show is that Wanda was legitimately a villain and there should be consequences for her actions.

What was actually accomplished in this show?

- old vision is now alive
- Wanda is now officially the “Scarlet Witch”

Now what?

She’s learning the Darkhold which was created by Chthon. He also created chaos magic. All this in an attempt to get to the current reality that SW and all of the other characters are living in.

She’s basically playing into his hands and probably will unlock the multiverse by doing so.

eh. It was a good look into grief and generally dealt with the personal losses of its characters competently.

This was definitely the strength of the show.

It could be something amazing, maybe, someday, hopefully, but tonight it was a business casual Skrull from HR, posting a job opening.

Your take missed the mark pretty hard overall but this is some seriously funny shite, I’ll give you that.

Probably an unpopular comment but after 8 episodes of Wanda holding on to this world and people she created to the point of madness...she voluntarily just quits, “kills off” vision and her kids and goes sit somewhere in the Alps to drink coffee like Thanos.

OK.

So...I’m glad we rushed through those last few stages of grief conveniently in 38 minutes.

The show was well done but I have a hard time believing she solved neurosis in an episode because some towns people were suffering. She was ambivalent to it all before until someone called her a “villain”.

I don’t know. Strong show. Weak wrap up.

I was a comic nerd in the 80’s and am still just thrilled to see characters like Vision and TSW fleshed out in movies. Vision was a favorite and I was disappointed in his short lived time in the films. Other than that, Marvel has done a great job at bringing these characters to the screen. This gives me hope of a bright future.

Now if we can just get a good reboot of the Clairmont / Byrne Xmen era.....

Loved the finale as a small time Marvel guy. Some of you marvel dorks make the Star Wars fanboys seem downright tame.

I really enjoyed being the whole arc of the show. All 3 leads killed it.

I agree, I think they wrapped this up too quickly compared to the pace of the rest of the series. Hard to imagine Dr Strange or Hawkeye not getting involved to help Wanda make the decision.

Absolutely excited about phase 4 and really glad this was a series rather than a movie. I hope they consider this format more in the future.

Jimmy Fallon did something well for the first time in years.

Look up his FallonVision sketch. It has the Tonight Show in different decades with him interviewing Elizabeth Olsen.

I won't spoil the ending but it's done really well.

Is it Reed? Is it Reed Richards? Does Reed Richards show up?

It seems like it ended too quickly because it’s ending is a beginning. They couldn’t go further because then they’re pulling plot from DS2.

So, someone clue me in on the overall storyline of SW. Does she or does she not turn into a bad guy in the end?

She does not. But she does have some redeeming to do.

I didn't see 1 minute of the show ( don't have D+ ) , but by all accounts, I think the actress who played Agatha stole the show.

Not since Missy, from Doctor Who, has a female villain character been so strong.

Wrong on 2 accounts:

Wanda owned this show to the point where she is arguably the most powerful character in the MCU. She had to act through 5 decades of shows and adapt the mannerisms of the time while dealing with the grief and other aspects of the show.

Agatha was a solid villain but she didn't steal the show. Monica was as big of a character as Agatha.

Second...Missy was a terrible character. She couldn't lay a finger to her predecessor, John Simm, as "The Master". Dr. Who has been ruined with the SJW agenda the new show runners are offering to the public.

Get a free trial of Disney Plus and watch the show before making such an assertion.

I'll agree that the gender swaps are terrible, unnecessary and all that, but Missy was , imo, damn good. Period. No, not on par with John Simm ( epic ) but I'll take Missy over Doctor Karen, any day of the week. I think we both agree that Doctor Who, as it stands now, is a dead franchise.
