I know people like it but personally I really hate GOTG 2. It is the worst MCU film. Much of the marvel Netflix series are terrible outside Daredevil. Captain Marvel was criticized, but I thought it was fine.

I bet you think Last Jedi was better than Empire.

I bet I don’t. That’s a childish reply to my post. I already said I’m in the minority on this. Don’t care. But yes I hated that movie. It was cause to expel Gunn from the MCU.

That’s a real shitty take you got there.

Ok, really enjoying this series.

Here is my question, Agnes and her Husband seem to be the only ones not under full mind control, and with Agnes slipping up in front of vision, and many thinking she is Agatha Harkness, then who is her Husband? What part of Xmen/mcu universe is he from?

And remember, Agnes and her husband several times slipped up while talking to vision, which had him wondering what the f was going on.

Agnes talks about her husband Ralph but we have never seen him. You may be thinking of Wanda and Vision's neighbor, Herb.

What about Herb 2 episodes ago? He was clearly thinking about revealing something to Vision “We’re all...” before Agnes stopped him.

Some Easter egg videos speculate maybe Wanda was distracted with Geraldine at the time and didn’t have total control at that moment but I’m not sure. There’s not to indicate that there is anything particularly special about him.

It seemed mostly like a temporary glitch where he was conscious. I mean the man was sawing a wall... When vision messed with his coworker - he knew what was happening the whole time and then went back into the trance.

Why has no one pointed out that even if Evan Peters is the Quicksilver from Fox, they do not have to use any of the other actors from Fox but can recast them all and it make sense?

Evan Peters could be the only XMAN pulled from the Fox movies, the multiverse could get "new" xmen etc from other alternate realities and use all new actors.

I believe we are all overthinking this. Wanda wanted a new Pietro so she gave him a different appearance. That different appearance just happens to be the person we as an audience know as the other Quicksilver. In FFH, they needed a new JJJ, so they just grabbed the guy we as an audience were already familiar with in that role. It’s probably just Fiege acknowledging that we enjoyed what Evan Peters brought to the role and wanted to let him continue in it.

Or it could be Multiverse stuff, frick idk anymore

+1 Feige will recast everyone from the Fox Xmen films

I think what’s her names comment about recasting was to make sure we knew this was a crossover and the Fox Quicksilver.

Surely if it is just a recasting they wouldn’t have explicitly called it out like that.

I believe her saying that just reaffirms my point, it doesn’t contradict it.

Ultimately, I believe this show is about grief. This is Wanda processing all that she’s missed, all that she’s wanted, all of her losses and traumatic experiences. This is her B.A.R.F. With everything going on in her created world, either she can resurrect the dead, but decided to recast Pietro to avoid that question or she legitimately can’t and just needed some new foil in her world as sitcoms often do to mix it up, losing her brother was one of her traumatic experiences.

If I’m right and this is just temporary, then I’m glad that Fiege recognizes that we do appreciate what others have done in their own Marvel Kingdoms.

If this is permanent and is a catalyst for bringing more of the (Fo)X-Men over, I’m happy as well because Evan was great in his role as were Michael, Patrick, James, Hugh, Nicholas, Kelsey, Sophie, Tye, and Rose.

Marvel as a comics universe, all these teams coexist.

The MCU has been world-building, and now the parent company owns both (and can reunite).

I wonder; like someone else pointed out, Far From Home is set later than this. In THAT, Peter is on a school trip, having been sorta reintegrated into society.

In this, Monica reappeared from the blip, came back to work in a week (1 week removed from returning), and this is her first case. We have the Sword director on site now, so maybe a little time has passed, but I don't think more than a month or so (we're 5 weeks in, so 6 weeks from the return). 6 weeks after Endgame.

All sorts of weird continuity issues could be happening. Residual from Hulk's snap, combined with Thanos taking his ship and armies through the time portal, then Tony's snap... the fabric of reality has been stretched a bit.

Good point. They need another huge big bad the level of a Thanos. Memphisto and Dr Doom are the same time would be great for this.

3 weeks.

But yeah you’re right about it being set before Far From Home. I thought it was weird that Nick mentioned the Multiverse and he himself didn’t seem bothered by it. Then again that was actually Talos and Nick was chilling up at Sword with Talos’ people. And now we know S.W.O.R.D. is involved with Wanda’s ordeal and it’s possible that she has done some Multiverse shenanigans as well.

Not the first time Marvel has jumped around the timeline. Homecoming came out in 2017 and was set a few months after Civil War. Black Panther came out in 2018 and was set in the weeks right after.

No one knows really how long the main plot of Doctor Strange is, only that it starts after the Avengers and is done by the events of Ragnorak.

They should bring back Ed Norton as Bruce Banner, have him be mad that he doesn't have full control, and then have Wanda switch him out with Eric Bana.

So I just binged the 5 episodes, and read the threads on all of them here.

I think this show is excellent to be honest.

Regarding Agness, it is clear to me she is manipulating everything.

-She immediately asks Wanda about where she is from, why doesn’t she have a wedding ring, etc....

-fricks up the dinner with Vision’s boss and makes Wanda think it’s an anniversary date night

-Shows up right when Wanda notices the red helicopter in the bushes

-Sets up Dottie (the blond) as being who runs the town

-She is the only one who knows this is scene and asks should it be redone. You can see Wanda is confused and then goes along with it

-And then the dog. I have no doubt she killed it and not some azelias.

She is behind everything going on and has played Wanda like a string. Not sure why, but she is the mastermind.

IMO.

Great show
