Has anyone else noticed that Daryl will put his arrows in his mouth. The same arrows with zombie brains all over them. Pretty sure that's not sanitary. Maybe he wipes them down with germ x or something, but I kinda doubt it.

Considering as people said, you are five miles away from the nearest thing

All they said was that they were five miles from the high school. Not sure why people keep assuming that they are literally five miles away from everything. They could be a mile or less from town for all we know.

they have to be doing it already..they have 2 trucks

I thought of that last night...funny how the truck they have/use is an old Ford with dual exhaust (looks like Flowmasters ). You'd think they'd want to be able to move around as quietly as possible, but the people on the show keep using loud arse vehicles.

You don't expect country folks like that to be driving a tacoma though.

What if at the bottom of the moat you added like wood spears pointing up so that when they feel they would have a chance of killing themselves.

You realize they're already dead, right?

Merle as Governor makes a ton of sense and I called it the moment he was gone.

Little girl as his zombie daughter...no fricking way

You laugh about moats. You must not have seen the picture of the guy who during the floods this spring built a moat and dyke around his house in a single day with a Komakatsu track hoe.

Fuel isn't a problem either. There will be plenty of truckloads of diesel around as well.

Frankly, I don't know why they haven't tried to run one of those tanks they keep seeing. An M-1 tank is as easy to drive as any car. It runs on JP 8 but will run on standard diesel as well. The coax on the top would pop the heads of scores of zombies and you could run over thousands and thousands of them. When you got low on fuel, you could simply drive away faster than any could follow, and it would be impervious to zombies and a perfect place to sleep in at night.

I havent said anything about your C+ Fortress of Solitary. Have at it if you think your priority would be running a loud Brushog when the apocolypse happens.

I'm thinking of just going ahead and digging a moat now so I'm prepared and don't have to worry about it.

Yeah I don't know why Rick didn't try to start the tank he was trapped in. I would have tried to start that bitch up and drive away. Definitely before I was gonna kill myself.

Alabama redneck digging a moat around a trailer with lawn chairs scattered around it would be so money.

As the show as shown us, rednecks like Daryl are at the top of the food chain when shtf.

Even more to the point, is why are there all these tanks scattered around? If I had a tank, there would at the very least be THOUSANDS of dead zombies around it before I died.

Oh, and one more bit or unreality from the very first show. An M-1 does not have a bottom escape hatch like Rick climbed into to escape the zombies. The M-60 was the last US tank to have one of those.

I love this show, but Rick is really starting to annoy me... something about the way he acts just seems forced and corny and overdramatic. Like he takes himself and everything way too seriously and every little thing seems to create drama where there isn't any.

I didn't understand why there was such a big deal out of him leaving or staying at the house.... his son is dying and he is providing the blood that is keeping him alive. Of course he's staying. What was that whole argument about?

He wanted to leave, and they kept telling him he needed to stay close to the house in case more blood was needed (which it was).

Wood spike to the head = redeath. You have to kill the zombies...might as well let them fall in a pit and hope their head smashes a wood spear.

So now we have time to not only dig a moat, but collect enough wood to line the bottom of the moat with them, AND sharpen all of them to a point. While not only gathering supplies and defending against zombie attacks.

Yeah, but even after they told him that he needed to stay close, it's like he still threw a fit wanting to leave. I didn't understand that.

He's just getting on my nerves. I don't know if it's overacting or bad writing, but his character just really seems forced to me.
