The only thing I got from this thread is that people who have read the comics like to drop "predictions" that are just dead on. It's both hilarious and sad.
And this comes from a comic reader who tends to not make predictions because they would be heavily biased with knowledge of the source material.

Well, just about every tv show either ended their fall schedule last week or will this week as it's Christmas time. TWD comes back February 12th and will run weekly for 9 straight weeks.

But yeah, it sucks. It seems to be a popular move with TV shows nowadays, whereas I don't remember it happening a lot back in the day (not saying it didn't, just that I don't recall). But it is definitely annoying as frick.

if you are talking about spencer you're likely right, but you have to admit that the show telegraphed his betrayal and demise from miles away
as soon as he called out rick a couple episodes ago, it was inevitable that he was getting killed. he's been a douche for a while now, even the actor playing him admitted that

I knew Rosita's assassination attempt would fail just because I knew the actor was signed on for another season.
But, I try not to make predictions after the crimes committed against me during the Game of Thrones spoiler wars. God, am I glad the show has passed the books.

Exact same thing could be said for Gabriel...just because he called Rick out doesn't mean his demise was eminent especially by the hands of Negan.
People who claimed to "call" this are pathetic and sad.
