Just watched episode 5. That ending was great. I wonder if they discuss it in a documentary somewhere.

Tim Riggins has been really damn good in this.

Have been really really pleasantly surprised with this series.

it's 100x better than the Alieniest and that one could have been good if done right. Acting is pretty shitty.

The women in children in the basement was tough to watch. It was a great series.

Such a sad story. I thought the series portrayed it very well.

Just got done watching it about an hour or so ago. Incredible miniseries. I couldn't help but get emotional during the final assault.

Unfortunately I imagine that is pretty much how it went down in real life.

I did find it funny that a couple of coincidences equalled to David receiving a sign from God.

Note, Steve didn't say WE got a sign, but that David got a sign. No matter what you believe, I just found that odd.

What's almost more alarming than our governments behavior is how quick the populace was to accept it because of unverified rumors of child abuse or illegal weapons. They must have laughed at how little resistance they got back from Waco. Hell, some of the Clinton DOJ's biggest supporters are "conservatives"

Republicans controlled the Executive, and therefore the DOJ, for 20 out of 24 years including the previous 12. Clinton was inaugurated on 1/20/93. Waco started 2/28/93 (40 days into his presidency). And you say this was Clinton's DOJ. Bet you think Ruby RIdge was because of him too. I mean he was the Democratic nominee at the time.

That wasn't my point. My point is that conservatives are so tied up in "back the blue" and law and order that they didn't even try and score political points with Waco.

Coincidence that this series aired while we are experiencing a huge push to curtail our 2nd amendment rights. All this film did was convince me even further how necessary the 2nd amendment is truly be "American".

Yeah, it wasn't so easy for the ATF to go in there and get their guns

Watched the finale last night. That was as intense of a finale as I’ve ever seen. I always assumed it was fact that the Davidians started the fire to start a mass suicide.

Excellent series. Michael Shannon gave another great performance. Kind of wish they’d make a sequel with McVeigh/Oklahoma City.

One of the Davidians survivors said on camera he heard Koresh order the men to pour gasoline and then light it. The documentary I saw had some audio that was "cleaned up" and had him saying it also. The audio stuff can be doctored, so not sure how much you can rely on that. The place went up really fast like there was gas on it IMO.
