Question for Walking Dead comic fans:
Does Morgan (I think that's his name - the black guy from the first episode) and his son meet up with the group eventually? I really liked them, and they just kind of faded away in the TV series.

I find the comics to actually be terribly depressing. More depressing than even The Road. The author isn't afraid to kill/maim any of the characters. I guess that's what happens when the world goes to hell.

Yeah, you can post them if you got them. This is the thread we're allowed by TD Law to discuss them in. It's exhausting downloading them one at a time. I don't want to do the Torrent thing and Rapidshare is driving me up a wall...
On #19 now since last night. I'll probably be caught up by the weekend through 80 or wherever its at now.
Still say no way they let Carl develop into whatever he is becoming...the comic is definitely not written for a sentimental audience. They'll kill you off in a heart beat.

Just bought the first compendium yesterday, half way through...will ask for the second for Christmas...it's great but a different monster from the tv show, which I think is good...kind of like a two for one.

Ok, three things that I really want to see next season.
Michonne, the Governor and his crew, and them going to the prison. I think it can all happen in season 2.
They need to move at a faster pace than season 1 but they can discover the prison pretty quickly, move on and get to Woodbury and the last 2 or 3 episodes of the season could be the Governor invading the Prison.
