Not sure it will be Carl that kills him, but this is going to happen eventually and probably by the end of season 2...which is a shame cuz i really like Shane as opposed to him being a giant emotional douche in the comic

And for the tv show to get to the prison escape, they still have to get through Hershels farm, the Governor's storyline, the whole prison experience and then the Governors assault.
This show could go on for a ridiculous amount of time and never get old.
I really wish AMC had the money to lengthen the seasons to a more traditional 22 episodes.

well it did get picked up for a 3rd season so it could happen...
but they need to get stuff moving big time...this nonsense with Sophia being lost still is annoying as frick

yeah, it's an hour long show... they need to cover some ground to bring back viewers. But I can understand that on the cerebral level... it's slow and quiet after everyone you know is gone.. and you are getting attacked by things that are slow and quiet..... So, in order to survive (on the move) you have to be slow and quiet.
