And here we have you talking about Hunters this and that...what if "Hunters" will eventually be on the show? If so, as soon as we see them (as nonreaders) we will now immediately know who they are and that they are cannibals, thanks to you letting us know that (over and over).
This. Honestly, I don't usually get involved in the spolier
From the "NO SPOILER" threads this season I have found out these scenarios might be introduced sometime in the future:
--there is some (probably bad) group out there called the Hunters
--there's a really bad guy named Nagin/Neghan who may or may not appear sometime in the show (when Joe was introduced a few episodes back, I actually began to speculate that he might be this mysterious Negan guy)
--cannibalism will possibly occur...this was hinted at by some posters several episodes back. Yeah, it might have been an inevitable situation in a post-apocalyptic world, and some of those speculating about it may have been non-readers, but some people seemed to know this would happen in TWD episodes coming up soon.
--Abraham is a good guy, and he will probably be around for a while. This was probably obvious given that the actor they cast to play this part isn't a complete unknown, but confirmed by people exclaiming his name before he was introduced, doing the
This has been going on for several seasons. It bothers me enough to roll my eyes when I read something I wouldn't have known or figured out just from watching, but not enough to make me quit reading these threads. I admit I have to really try hard to avoid the spoiler threads or Google extra info, because I do want it to be a bit of a surprise. But just from some of the posters in the last few pages saying "I'm out of here", it obviously bothers some people more.

And if he hadn't read the comics, then how would he know something straight from the comics..?
He already answered that question. The character he mentioned was discussed on talking dead earlier on in the season. Fact is there's no way what he stated in this thread could be accurate, and he misspelled the character's name. No comic reader would think what he stated could be the case.

bullshite, she was a liability to them or any other survivors. That rabid dog needed to be put down.
You tie and lock her up, she dies eventually. Becomes a walker, but sits there TIED UP. How is that a liability? And if so, I guess that makes Carrol and Tyreese "extremely desperate."

what is kuru?
A disease cannibals get, it effects the prions in their brains like Mad Cow. You catch it specifically from eating an infected human brain. It was found in Papua New Guinea among cannibals.

lso, ammo must grow on trees at Terminus.
is it far fetched to think they do their own reloading? i have a friend in miami who reloads his own bullets and its amazing how many rounds he can crank out in a day.
if they hit some type of gunpowder stash, they could easily have some dudes' full time jobs making ammo.

Not comparable at all. Lizzie was a psychopath that needed to be put down. Are the people of Terminus desperate? I guess so if they're cannibals, my point is they shouldn't be desperate, they have enough protected space and human labor that they could be as self sufficient as the prison was. Too much concrete, make raised beds like they already have. Unless they come up with a good explanation it's just a bad set up IMO.
I don't know if it's a bad setup...cannibalism certainly adds a different angle to an enemy. But I agree that you certainly wouldn't have to result in cannubalism unless you wanted to, basically. You could plant/farm all kinds of things, and the animal populations would be out of control without humans to regulate them.

And how is making her starve to death any different from shooting her from a "killing children is frowned upon in America" point of view?

Once they got the trap set up its easy to eat what is caught in the trap.

I've been wondering that they must have a ton of reloading supplies but ammo and reloading supplies are heavy.

unless there was a train car full already at this site.

The point is all I said is that they are cannibals which was confirmed by the show and its companion program Talking Dead because Chris called them cannibals and the official typeface referred to them as that.
I didn't spoil anything at all or introduce my knowledge from the GN. If someone else did in this thread that is on them. I posted on the first few pages of the thread at people hating/trolling the show in general. Then I didn't post until last night when I had seen the episode, Talking Dead, and the encore.

I found it odd how Daryl said "she's just gone". Maybe he didn't want to admit that she got kidnapped on his watch, but it really seems like he should have said "she got kidnapped".
Yeah, that seemed weird. Especially considering how close Rick and Darryl are. I was waiting for him to look down and be like "they took her and I couldn't stop it" or something like that.
It would suck, but kinda be funny if she pulled a Judy Winslow and she just never showed back up.

But they could have easily locked her up in the house and left her. Killing a child because you don't feel like finding rope and a good chair does not make it justifiable.
But would just leaving her alone & alive to die slowly & turn been even less humane than putting her down like a sick dog?
Oh, and to your question about if not cannibals, then what: Although the whole boneyard thing does lead more to cannibalism, maybe there is something more to the herding them into boxcars. Maybe they plan to slowly brainwash them into joining their little cult, who knows without confirmation? Like someone else posted earlier, they may not want to eat ALL of them, but have those who are "like-minded" join them.
ETA: My point is that cannibalism may not be their primary goal of capturing more people. Nobody wants another Woodbury, but that was a different type of Utopian cult than what this may be.

It's not. How is that any different from "cannibalism is frowned upon in America?" Shows me that the people of this world are "extremely desperate."

I just googled kuru and read about causes and how it gets spread. Now I'm really disgusted.

None of you watched Talking Dead? Again I DID NOT EVEN SPOIL A THING AT ALL NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE SAW IT.
Between the shows context and Talking Dead calling them Cannibals directly I didn't spoil anything at all. So are you going to apologize Cocomo? We were discussing the show in peace until you reared your head.
Apologize? Get the frick out of here with that shite, brah. You just said that the nonreader thread wouldn't survive without you guiding discussion in it, and you want me to apologize?
Also, FWIW, I don't watch Talking Dead at all. They talk about way too much comic shite for me to be interested in that. I don't care that people watch it, but I choose not to because I only want to ingest TWD via the actual show. That's just me though.
Also, you were discussing the show in peace, yet there were several instances where readers (or people who googled shite) were posting shite (including pictures from the actual comic pages). You seem to be intentionally forgetting about that.

Then that defeats the whole purpose of "us before them," or whatever that was written on the wall of that nature.
ETA: I'm about to go watch the Talking Dead and see if they said anything. Be back in 45.

Talking Dead did the confirmation I didn't. I was playing nice discussing the show until Cocomo started his song and dance. hence the comment that everything Cocomo doesn't know isn't a spoiler.

This could certainly be a possibility, but would that make them any less cannibalistic?

I really dont remember that being confirmed at all in the show or talking dead.
