Thought it was a sniper. It was obvious the guy knew he was dead the way he was begging and pleading to let him handle it and the gareath was like shut up.

Other than what you mentioned, there was the spot where there were a bunch of bloody skeletons. So between that, the shooting, and the creepy "eat this" scene, it seems likely that they are cannibals. I'd tell you that we'd find out for sure next season, but it's confirmed now, thanks to readers letting us know. I'm glad we have them around to help us out.

I'm not sure what the result would be if you ate (essentially...bit?) a zombie. If they bite you, you turn. Does that hold true for the flipside? If you bite/eat a walker, do you still turn? I doubt it. But at the same time, I doubt anybody would want to take a chance on that.
It's easy enough to keep people alive and kill them when you are ready for food.

In the movie (??????????) there was a family of cannibals that keep several people in their basement with missing legs and arms that they kept alive as they ate them part by part. It wasn't during a zombie apocalypse but during a nuclear apocalypse if that makes a difference.

Regardless of whether spoilers are posted (which they clearly are, by the usual suspects) their meddling in these threads derails all discussion on the show. I swear it's been like 10 straight pages of dealing with their BS.
