I love Rick but I was disappointed he had such a hard time kicking the arse of a a wife beatin surgeon who hadn't been on the outside.

It's what happens when you take a razor to your hair.

Ask Samson.

Definitely.

I have a feeling she'd join the group though. Then Glenn could get asked to go get prenatal vitamins again. Judith could have a friend.

Here's the Shane/Rick parallel we were talking about.

Yup, They are going out of there way to show him becoming more like Shane. He still isn't that crazy. But him telling Jessie he can protect her and her sons, to those words at the end, are Shane.

I don't think he as as far gone yet.

I love that barn scene by the way. One of the best parts of a below par season 2.

Yeah it is pretty crazy how they came full circle to be pretty much the same person. One of the callers on walking dead even asked what the guests thought that season 1 Rick would think of this season Rick. Pretty interesting to think about.

I wouldn't go that far.

I think Rick sees now and believes there was some truth to Shane's madness but he isn't that far gone. Rick would not shoot Otis

What are we to make of Rick's lines from the finale promo: "They'll hunt us. They'll find us. They'll try to kill us. But we'll kill them".

I know the promos always try to misdirect the viewers so this could mean different things. Who is "they"? Alexandrians? Seems unlikely. The new threat?
Nah, he's probably just talking about walkers.

Not necessarily, wolves travel in a pack. Scavengers and killers. They could have been taken "into the fold", sorta like Daryl and the claimed group.

Going town to town taking and killing, branding survivors before they turn.

Maybe Alexandria is next. Internal conflict may have to be put on hold for external conflict.

you're gonna be tripping some reader radar with this.

i was intrigued on the significance of the red balloon (and sure the helium too). but i think it was more of a symbol. i know rick sees it tied to a boat in the water but we see it again right?

i can't remember. wasn't it just a kid walking with it? was it ron?

lastly someone mentioned about rick pushing carl away like the doc pushed his wife away. i think this was just to illustrate how over the line rick was going. that michonne's takedown at the end was actually warranted even though we all love beast mode rick.

Yeah and the dude was clearly drunk before they fought.

So how did Nicholas get the gun rick hid in the blender? We were led to believe that Enid did it, so are they working together?

Michonne sees Rick is starting to lose it like Sasha, but does she realize everything else at play? Nicholas' actions, Deanna kicking rick out, wife beater clearly capable of worse, how clueless Alexandria is as a whole, Carol with the same line of thinking as rick but much more stable?

Why does no one acknowledge the "W" they keep seeing (or upside down "M")? They have popped up continuously close to Alexandria and no on in the group seems to care that clearly something is going on.

Nicholas was interviewed on camera but was Glenn? And if everyone gets to see it then did Glenn and Eugene take a look to make sure he wasnt lying?

To be fair, that guy punched his wife away and rick shoved carl. The point still remains the same, though.

The main difference is that Rick is now a wild animal again, just like when he bit that dudes neck.

The doc is just a dick and was doing stuff like this before the ZA.

Rick has evolved to survive. The doc hasnt changed at all, which in this case is going to get him killed.

One thing that came up that I think most people didn't notice this episode could have dealt with Morgan. Since it was already in the episode I don't think it's a spoiler only an assumption. Black hand with ring, and glasses on the ground.

Yea that looks like it could be him. Maybe a flashback to show what happened right there.

Edit: Chances are they kill him in a one episode appearance or he comes back in later seasons.

I mean isn't the actor the lead in another tv series? Doubt he has the time.

If that was Morgan, then his no-limbed torso/head with W may make an appearance soon, which could push Rick even further.
