One thing troubling me. How the heck did that loser Nicholas secretly "track" and/or spy on Rick as he put the gun into the old blender before they even made it into Alexandria? I have been intrigued as to who was watching him and this is just a bit of a letdown. I guess it could have just been "right place right time" but that dudes a joke.

Remember, Nicholas and A-a-ron were tracking Rick and company and spying on them for a while before making contact (at the barn, after the tornado). So they could've easily watched Rick plant the gun and retrieved it immediately after (which is what I assume happened).

But they were doing recon (watching, listening with microphones, etc.) on Rick and them for a while.

I'd just hate to think that Morgan is responsible for that type of savagery.
That's what makes me suspicious too. Whoever's carving the W's is almost certainly (IMO) doing it to live humans - a whole fricking lot of them. I don't know if Morgan would do that.

did they ever show what the source of the light that Daryl saw was? Figured Morgan or the W group, but don't remember them going back to it.
I think it was humans, who were dismembered and/or tied to a tree during the night. Remember, it was night when Daryl saw the light. Then, presumably, he went to that location first thing in the morning, and that's when they found the carnage. So I think the light was either coming from those people (who were then killed by someone else) or from the person who killed them.

I know it's a show and take it for what it is but I have a hard time grasping that the gay fellas tracked down and followed Rick's group long enough to understand their ways. This along with Morgan tracking them to DC as well. That is a long way and ther eis no way you can tell which way someone is heading.

I believe it was Eric and Aaron tracking the group. And at the time Rick put the gun in the blender they had already agreed to go back to Alexandria. They weren't being "tracked" any longer. At least not that we knew of. Nicholas obviously saw it though. That's all according to my memory. I could be wrong.

Jesus...the whole Morgan "W/M" thing was 100% a joke. It was simply a joke about how Ms are basically upside-down Ws.

Holy shite.

actual wolves appearing
This is what I think the "Beware the Wolves" graffiti was referring to. I'm not convinced that the W's refer to wolves. To my knowledge, there's no reason to believe that, except that they start with the same letter.

No I think you're right because Aaron was all sissy worried about his love after the flares went up. Nicholas was in the "go on runs" crew, so maybe he happened to see Rick stash the gun, or maybe he was told about it.

But it wasn't Nick on those recruiting runs with Aaron though, true.

I wasn't taking the M's thing seriously. But I do think it's possible that Morgan is responsible for the W's. It's probably more likely that it's someone besides Morgan, though.

I figured the ALL CAPS and overly ridiculous gif would be enough.

Either way, NBD. I do think Morgan and the Wolves are separate things (and that whatever the Wolves are is responsible for the "W" walkers and dissected bodies).

I bet Nicholas was in the house rubbing one out and happened to see Rick put the gun away.

I tend to want to agree with you on that, btw.

At one point, I was wondering if maybe the Ws stood for something else, like "west" maybe. But we haven't seen any N, E, or S marks.

Yeah, I thought the same thing last night. Just picking them off for fun isn't necessary. I tried to justify it by saying that as long as she's killing walkers, she isn't completely wasting ammo...but they're at the point now where ammo is most useful against a) other humans, and b) in case of emergency against walkers in a bind.

Apparently she has an unending supply of 300 BLK despite being mulitple years into the ZA. Plus she can't go all Charles Whitman with a knife.

They will all ally with Rick. The knockout was about buying time. All were in on the plan about taking over if the current regime proved ineffective. Rick just went a little psycho and jumped the gun.

Agreed with this and everything else you've said in this thread

Rick is struggling against this cake-eating doctor who hasn't had to fight for anything during the outbreak?

That doc is no small dude. He has pretty good size advantage on Rick and he spars with his wife on a nightly basis.

The whole idea of exiling Rick bothers me because I'm not sure if anyone (his crew or even Deanna) would think separating Rick from his kids would be a good idea at all. Even if he thought they'd be better off in a "safe" town like Alexandria, I don't think he'd leave them quietly, especially when he knows Alexandria is vulnerable to outside attack.

Does anyone have any idea how many townsfolk there are in Alexandria, besides Rick's crew? There doesn't seem to be more than 15 whenever there's a gathering or a crowd on the street.
