I wonder what Gabriel's motive for telling Deanna that was??

Probably because of self pity and guilt.
But mainly because he is a backstabbing bitch.

Gabriel is like Judas, maybe hell hang himself.

He's just still living in fantasyland. He sees the Alexandria community as more of a reality than what he experienced in his short time in the real world, and rick and co aren't the norm. The reverse is true but he still refuses to see that.

I'm wondering why Carol just doesn't take of the wife beater herself. She sure doesn't need Rick's help with that drunken fool.
Rick is the sheriff

I thought it was a pretty good episode. I enjoyed the action and while I generally don't care for excessive gore just for for the hell of it, I guess we can write off those two gory deaths as something that would happen time to time within sight of others in the ZA.
I'm glad they established that people were lost in the community before team Rick got there (and it seems like partially from the cowardice/incompetence of the Alexandria people). Otherwise it would have been kind of incongruous if Alexandria had functioned fine until the ultra competent Rick and crew got there then people started die-ing left and right.

oh snap, preview of next episode on Talking Dead shows that Carl may be the first of the group to get his dick in something
Well, you know, other than Shane.

I think nicotero knew this episode would premiere on his birthday.
It had a very day of the dead approach to it and that was one of his first films if not his first.

With Noah gone, Beth really died for nothing.

If it had been reversed it woukld have been more powerful.
Noah getting his brains blown out, Beth getting to reunite with everyone, Beth being eaten whilke Glenn is forced to watch.
Glenn having to explain to Maggie and Daryl what happened.

Maggie's gonna cut that priest's balls off

Think she will tell, or try to handle the situation herself?
Posted on 3/15/15 at 10:41 pm to SEClint
I think Maggie will tell the rest of the group, and it will hasten the impending confrontation between the two groups.
Posted on 3/15/15 at 10:45 pm to SEClint
think Maggie will notify Glenn, in the least, about the traitor preacher man. Either way, it will get back to Rick and then Rick will take appropriate action. I can see this playing out a couple different ways...looking forward to his death

I would be pissed if some outsiders defiled my church by killing 7 or 8 people inside and then i had to preach out the POS shack in Alexandria.

Carol was pissing me off, the way she was treating that kid

I mean that kid is the boy version of sophia.
I agree...not just Sophia, but she after what happened with Lizzie and her sister, Carol didn't want to get close to anyone, especially kids. Even after she rescued the group at Terminus, she tried to go her own way (the night Daryl followed her to the abandoned car and they saw the vehicle from the hospital, which ultimately led them to Beth).

Perhaps. But if Noah hadn't joined the group, they'd still be dicking around Georgia. He convinced them to head to Richmond to where his family had a "safe" place, and Eugene's dumbass stories of DC grandeur helped keep them moving 'til they arrived where they are now.
