So his family and original group that he made it to the prison with didn't care enough to take time out of their afterlife partying to welcome him? Or he just didn't give enough of a crap about them to hallucinate them.
these were people who he still had not reconciled with in his concious.
ETA: He understood that his wife died, but he still hadn't at that point got over many of the lessons or events that happened with those characters shown in the flashback

Tyrese said that his father told him that keeping your eyes open was the high cost of living.
Tyrese struggled to keep his eye open after being bit.

definitely.
See this episode was cinematically amazing (well at least in TWD standards).
And it was deep emotionally and psychologically.
We never really had an episode dedicated to what a person thinks about as they are dying.

Think you are missing the point on this. It was way before he was bit. Turning a blind eye to reality and not doing what he should of done. Like kill the guy trying to kill little kick arse and other people who were evil

both valid interpretations

No I think you think I was making a point. I was just pointing out a little foreshadowing.

The 'town' had graffiti that said 'Wolves not far.' W + 'wolves' + chopped up people = new bad guys?

There was a pack of dogs in the preview. They could use them to hunt people like Boltons bastard. Or actual wolves but looked like German shepherds

You aren't the only one hoping that

I don't understand the "sneaky" zombie and I'm tired of them killing people with it.
And I guess everybody Does hate Chris now.
I hope this season introduces a new conflict instead of the same old "people vs people" they have been rolling with. I'd a almost rather they just sette down and start building a new society and deal with how that goes down. They can now manage the zombie risk and probably the "others" risk so let them get started on rebuilding society.

welcome to the world of zombies, those type of zombies are called lurkers...they are essential in the zombie film world.

The thing about sneaky zombies...if they really existed, then the guys who have survived this long would be aware of them and would be mega-paranoid about any new area, especially a small space like a house. It's insulting to think that people like this would let their guard down at this point in the apocalypse. It's lazy to kill someone like tyrese this way.

dude wasn't in the mindset of omg let's clear the house before we enter...Noah had already entered the house. He was more worried about Noah and that picture than clearing the house.
This is par the course for Tyreese

Well the whole time tyrese always had a sort of slow reaction. I'm not surprised honestly. He was day dreaming and he always seemed unaware of his surroundings if that makes sense.

I feel like this fit Tyrese's character on the show perfectly.

You definitely have a point there. I forgot about the "Wolves not far" graffiti until you said that

He caught up with Noah in the front yard and then we got Noah's dramatic discovery of his dead mom/sister, and then he saw the moving leg shadows under the door, yet still he gets overcome by the dead twin and gets bit? I get that he's a head case but damn., that was stupid.

I don't know why it surprises me anymore when I hear these miserable people bash this show... I thought this episode was great and well worth the wait
