How does it go from up in the air decisions last week to completely obvious the next week?

That said I actually enjoyed Lee's sound more.

haha it's kind of funny seeing everyone enjoying his voice more but Christina picking the girl. Song choice tailor made for Lindsey, coaching for Lindsey where Christina says "if you do X you will win."

So these battles which all take place on one night are going to take 4 episodes to complete? So much non battle programming taking place in these episodes.

Jamar was damn good.

This is no brainer.. Jamar is better.

Christina has 3 strong singers out of the 4 who advanced.

Blake's team isn't very good, I can't see any of the 3 who advanced go far. That one guy from Cee Lo's team is very good, the other two I don't think are near as good. Adam has Kim who is a powerhouse, not sure on the others.

I don't really watch much of the "fluffer" parts of the show. I hate that each battle round takes 20 fricking minutes. I watch the pairings and the song choice, a little bit of the "coaching", and then the battle round. I do like to see what each coach says, but it seems like the producers told them that no matter what, each singer has to get at least one "choice." Also, those parts are SO heavily edited. It just doesn't flow at all.

As for last night's episode, I thought just about every one of the performances were awful. The only one I even halfway liked was Heart Shaped Box. Adam nailed it when he said it had this cool, kinda creepy vibe to it.

I hate how the battle rounds are though...especially with some of the song choices. And I agree that the coaches are basically picking who they think is better, not who did better in the battle.

I got all of the picks right last night because like it's been said, most of them were obvious choices. I did like Lee Koch better in heart Shaped Box, but his sound is so precise, and that other chick has way more variance in what she can do, so Christina was gonna go with her...and she said the same thing.

Overall, I am disappointed with the show so far. I keep seeing shite on commercials and talk shows like "This year people are stepping the bar up and this field is more talented than last year's," but I just don't agree at all. There still isn't anyone who is memorable to me. Maybe the soul dude who won last week at the end, but that's about all.

Also, am I the only person who doesn't know who the frick Robin Thicke is? I have literally never heard of him before this show, but they are telling me how awesome and famous he is on there.

I mean:

Lionel Richie (the best/most famous IMO)
Jewel
Alanis Morrissette
NeYo (meh)
Kelly Clarkson
Blake's wife
Babyface (#2 IMO)
And fricking Robin Thicke?

One of these things is not like the others.
