I guess this is why you took off last Friday. Tell your old man congrats! Perhaps you could invite us lowly laborers on these company hunts every now and then.

I have the Klipsch S4s and love them.
I'd like an invite if anyone has any left.

I'm on the Bully 1. The Driller is in Garden Banks right now.

They trucked out all but 35 vehicles from our rig. Trucks were scarce and they closed Hwy 23 before we could get them all.

I just wish we could have gotten all of the vehicles moved out in time. Hopefully it stays dry.

Storm Surge in Boothville

Does anyone have a clue about the flooding in Boothville? I'm offshore and the guys out here are real worried about their vehicles parked at PHI. I've only seen pics of Grand Isle, and it doesn't look good for those guys at all.

I get to come home Tuesday after 28 days offshore. I'd love to be able to give this a listen while I'm driving. TIA

All submissions are due by June 1st. Shell's safety day is June 6th, that's when the winner will be decided. Once the logo is chosen we'll get hats, t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc made. E-mail me at sidbream@cox.net. I'll give you my work e-mail, which has my full name, so you can send me the address to send the care package. I go back offshore on May 29th, I can't access my work e-mail from home, but my out of office message gives you my home email, and cell number. It sounds complicated, but I don't know how else to prove that this is a legit offer. I'll trust you not to send gay porn, if you'll trust me to send you the package.
That would be great! Thanks

I prefer to think of myself as a talentless arse instead of lazy, and I would ask what size shirt you would want.

I work for Shell on the Noble Bully 1. We have a contest going on to see who can come up with a logo for the rig so we can make t-shirts and hats. I will of course send 1 of anything the we make with the logo to the best supplied picture. First prize of the contest is an 85qt yeti ice chest. I'm way too cheap to buy at $400 ice chest, but I do want one. So basically if you help me win, I get a crappy ice chest, and you get a kick-arse t-shirt.

The Rig:

I like the idea of using this as the "U" in Bully

And I guess some how feature the logos of both Shell and Noble, but they don't have to.

Any one mind suggesting a good Pinot Noir or blend that I should try?

I guess my biggest hurdle would be that I'm not real adventurous. Once I find something that I like, I'll stick with it. With as many options as wine offers, it's a pretty daunting/fraustrating task to find the better ones. I hate spending $30-$40 on a bottle that I have to muscle down because I hate the taste.

I've been part of a few beer of the month clubs. I work offshore so I'm usually home when the deliveries come, but if I'm not they'll leave the box at my front door. They've always come in a plain brown box and I've never had any problems.

I live in Lafayette and we have our fair share of wine shops. I'm relatively new to drinking wine, it wasn't until I started dating a waitress from Marcello's that I really got into wine. Now it's probably my favorite casual adult beverage. I've been on a big Oregon Pinot Noir kick lately, so bad to the point that I'm thinking of getting married in the Williamette Valley. I'm always open to suggestions, so by all means throw some ideas my way.

I started out with white wines and since I've had good reds there is no way that I can go back to whites. Every time I try, I find that they just taste like cat piss.

I kind of figured that shipping would end up being my downfall, but you can't beat 1c shipping!

Purchasing Wine Online

Posted by SidBream on 12/16/11 at 7:22 am
Can anybody recommend a good place to buy wine online? I'm trying to start a cellar and I'm sure i can find better deals online than in stores if I knew where to look. TIA

Is that a puppy pad?
Eat breakfast, drink plenty of water, then start drinking slowly. It won't take long to get your buzz back. Think of the tortoise and the hare. Slow and steady always wins in the end, and as always, drink one for me because I'm stuck offshore.

Saints overlooked this game and played flat. Fair weather fans are abundant in this thread. Brees's streak is still alive.
