Is this going to be on Shudder?

I would get AMC+ subs and it was supposed to be available (on IFC Films), but it wasn't.

It may be an AMC+ specific licensing issue. I could never get an answer.

Great movie.

The first Hell House is my favorite movie set at a haunted attraction movie, but I enjoyed that one too.

I'm not a horror comedy guy most of the time and I couldn't watch it.

I believe when I called it up on my Cox cable box, Shudder was the option it brought up.

I’ve read a little about it and remember some discussion about it from here. I know it’s super fricked up.

Spoilers.

Yes. IIRC I liked it well enough but hated the ending (if that’s the one I’m thinking of where they’re left in the coffins or something like that).

Possession (1981)

One of my all time favorite films. But, it’s one you will either love or hate, no in between. It is bonkers on a whole other level.

Like 15 minutes

I don't know if I've seen a movie yet (not just limited to horror) that does the "live look at social media" stuff well in movies.

Sure, "spook" can refer to a ghost. It can refer to a spy. But as many of us know, it's also, sometimes, a racial slur for black people. One of our Ask Code Switch readers wrote in to ask about the etiquette of using words like spook and spooky.

I started it, but really didn’t want to see what i assumed happened to the family dog. I’ll eventually go back to it

I went to doesthedogdie.com at the beginning of evil dead 2013 and I haven’t been able to get back to it either no issues with seeing people slaughtered.

The very beginning is a little obnoxious but once it gets going, it really does succeed at being still pretty damn scary and still very funny.

I agree. I almost turned it off during my first watch because of what SFP notes. However, I stuck with it, and it really does get better. I've watched it again on a couple of occasions since.

I remember Baloo always loved this movie, and he loved how the premise was fairly simple in that "It's just an evil fricking room."

What happened to Baloo by the way?

The Nun II was not very good. Doubt that comes as a surprise though.

How is the first one? I almost watched it last night but ended up watching the original The Thing From Another World. Love that movie.

Entertaining at least. The backstory was somewhat interesting.
