I thought it was solid. There were several times when I was laughing a good bit. Nothing terribly special, but definitely a good start to the new half-season.
Stan falling around drunk shooting the guns made me laugh the most.

the entire matrix premise was the funniest part, imo

This season as a whole has been much, much better than the last 3. It's starting to approach Season 5-11 greatness, but I'll hold off until the end of the season to really mean this, since Funnybot really sucked.

I didn't get the whole Matrix references. As well as the McDonald's dude giving Stan frienship lessons. Those two things seemed to lack any kind of point at all. I kept waiting for Stan to come to the realization that he had gone crazy and was really in a looney bin.
Him drinking at the end was funny. And Cartman's arse burgers was a really funny sub plot.

yeah, it seemed like more of a set-things-up episode than anything standalone.
I like the transition of Stan into cynical alchy. It also seems Kyle and Cartman are actually getting along more than ever (recall the crack baby ep).
Times they are a chagin

so was the vaccination reference a direct shot at Rick Perry?
Posted on 10/6/11 at 10:41 am to tigerinthebueche
Yes. The getting Asbergers from the vaccination was a direct shot at the loons who claim vaccines made their kids autistic.
When Stan was lookign out the window and you hear Kyle say "You mean you've been putting them in your arse!?"
Hilarious.

Awesome episode. I laughed all the way through. Matrix references, Jameson makes the world seem normal, Cartman's pants acting as a dutch oven. all so so funny.
Can't wait for the documentary Sunday night

(and Butters as the Mexican immigrant)
Yes sir. You know Cartman's gonna throw a 'respect my authoriTIE' in there and its gonna be great.
