From the looks of the previews, it seems like Jax believes Abel.
They showed Unser telling Jax that the guy Gemma said killed Tara wasn't even in the state on the night the murder happened.
Then they showed Juice with Althea and Unser saying something like "It's too late for all of us now".
And a shot of Nero sitting on the floor sobbing.
Gemma about to get her shite pushed in.

Gemma is probably cutting all ties with Nero and told him she won't go to that farm with him. She probably goes on the run once she finds out that Abel told Jax.

Juice said it's too late. Unser antagonizes Jax into hitting him, then tells the Sheriff to put an APB out for him for assault. Says he wants him locked up for a while.

How on earth do they not see that Hunnam's British accent is popping up more often in post production?

Will likely be spun that he was talking about the second guy, who they all know was a plant to get Juice in lockup to kill Lin.
So nothing groundbreaking to Jax even though the tease makes you believe it is.
Nothing has been said about the first guy they killed being out of town the night of the murder, unless I missed it.

Why would Jax even kill his own mother?
Sure he'd be pissed about her killing his wife. But she did it to help/protect him and their family. Last she knew Tara was ratting them out and running out of state with the boys. If Jax were to kill Gemma, then his kids would have no Mother & no Grandmother.

Don't think he will... She will be ostracized, which is worse to her than death. She is all about family and the boys, so losing them will kill her.
I can see the spin being she kills whomever and takes the boys, at least the younger one and then we get a flash forward to Abel being in charge of the club and searching for his brother.

My guess is Abel somehow kills Gemma, has to go on the lam. He ends up changing his name to Johnathan, goes to a county fair, paints his face like a zombie and is interviewed by the local news. He doesn't confess to killing his grandmother but instead admits to the world that he likes turtles.

I think he would kill her because she lied about it and got multiple club members killed. Her actions created a chain reaction and once the bomb is dropped that she was responsible it will be a hard sell to let her live.
ETA: Last night's episode was the most solid of this season so far imo. The opening montage and the Juice/Manson prison love garbage was stupid but the rest of the episode was solid and the ending scene with Abel cut like a knife. I feel like there are three episodes left and we finally started the season.

Hahah, The wife and I always laugh now when his accent comes out. It is pretty bad now.

What second guy? Juice shot at some cops to get thrown in county. What would a random guy's whereabouts on the night of Tara's murder mean to Jax?
