So.
Back in June, a former coworker of mine came across Walton Goggins eating breakfast here in Louisville and he was reading over a script when she walked passed him.
I know he’s supposed to be in that show based on Fallout so it could be that. But it does make you curious.
I would definitely tune back in for Raylan AND Boyd.

I'm not sure Raylan and Boyd could make up for this abysmal series. I watched it, but feel like overall my time was wasted. Him shooting mansell who didn't even have a gun on him, at least what was showed was how the whole season was done, irritating.

That was 7.75 episodes of crap.
I am now vacillating between being ecstatic at the prospect of Raylan vs Boyd reunion, and being sick to my stomach at the thought of them ruining it like they did this crap.

what? he clearly had a gun on him tucked in his pants behind his back. they zoomed in on it when Raylan pulled.
I didn't feel like he was going for it though, as he pulled out the cassette... but that may have been because he never made it to the gun

That whole Albanian sequence in the last episode was ridiculous.

yeah, he was clearly an idiot (they both were) and that's why the boss was pissed off
If criminals doing dumb shite made you that mad then I don't know how you made it through the original series.
The original series was partly written by Elmore Leonard also, and he is known for having dumb criminals. There's an article listing the dumbest criminals he ever wrote from 2013.
The series wasnt as good as the original (no shocker there), but it definitely wasn't garbage. It was just an average show, I enjoyed at least parts of every episode and really liked the first and last 2 episodes.

I thought the final showdown scene was harkening back to the story the retired cop told Raylan in the bar. It was about him shooting the bad guy that was going for a bottle opener. He talked like he kind of subconsciously knew he wasn’t going for his gun but wanted to be done with him.

Watched the last two episodes. Better (but still not Justified). There's no question Clem knew Raylan would drop him when he reached back. I think he was counting on Raylan or the lawyer calling an ambulance and he would have set up Raylan for a murder charge.
They'll frick it up, but I will watch Raylan chase Boyd. It has to end with Raylan killing him.

Show was mostly bad. I guess with the tease of Boyd escaping we will get another season, so that might be worth watching. Will it be Raylan in Kentucky, or Boyd in Miami?
Also, back to this season, would have rather watched 8 hours of Winona driving to Florida from Kentucky.
