Even if I believe all of that, I'm also supposed to believe this super powered dude just sat by while the entire world, and his whole family with it, was going to end in any of the Avengers movies? These were all very public situations.

NYC, Sokovia, Wakanda, assuming he wasn’t snapped, outside of NYC again. How do you expect an elderly man, living in hiding and poverty, to get to these locations ready to fight in time?

Why do you expect an old man, no matter how super he may be, to get involved or be capable of involving himself in these events? For the New York attack he would stay home and protect his house and family like most other people would. The rest of the places are pretty distant.

Locking him up sounds exactly like what the government would do.

Heck our government locked up James Bond and only let him out so a scientist could help save Alcatraz.

Bucky specifically mentioned fighting him in Korea.

Oh for frick's sake.

I am as anti-woke as it gets and you are way off here.

Drew a direct parallel to the Tuskegee Experiment (they told us it was a tetanus shot) and, yes, black men that returned from the war did return to racism and segregation.

And, yes, the government absolutely would have locked him up to experiment on him (especially because in that reality, Hydra had infiltrated Shield and the government and would have wanted those experiments).

This episode also proved that Sam's sister isn't racist cause she wants that White Wolf D!

With Boseman dead we need some Bucky in Black Panther 2.

Well. As was said to Steve.

The serum makes good great. And bad worse.

Walker was nutso. PTSD. As I mentioned before likely did morally questionable stuff for those medals. Now he’s lying to Lamars parents. Truly a POS.

Steve wasn’t a traditional soldier. Just a pint sized weakling always trying to do the best thing before the juice.

Damn with the Secret Agent quickness. I guess Fontaine is the cameo. Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a badass huh?

I really have liked how they’ve brought in Sams history as a counselor for vets. First with Carli and then with Bucky towards the end of this episode.

Of course they don’t show us what’s in the case. Lol.

What’s is the boooooox!?

Steve’s Head of course.

Seriously though. I like the idea noted a few pages back about a vibranium cap suit. Given Sam left the wings with disinterest, it makes sense. He may have sorta mastered the shield , but he’s just not durable enough to fight Carli let alone several of the remaining serum users.

A vibranium suit def evens the odds. I’ll be curious as to the colors and design though.

He might be in it, but I'd be shocked if he plays a major part.

The "don't show your face in Wakanda for a while" line in this episode suggests to me that he won't be in it.

Man I totally forgot about this. His story makes more sense if he was used in further conflicts. Still doesn't make sense that he'd just completely peace out during global extinction events, but at least the govt captivity thing plays better.

To be fair, the show has been pretty dang boring till the most recent two episodes. Pretty forgettable really.

I’m extremely anti-woke and I think that this has walked a fine line on the issues pretty well.

Yes, no borders would be awesome. But it’s not practical.

Racism existed and exists, yes, but it’s not the end all be all to all problems. Sam’s character exudes anti-crt characteristics.

I’m fine with pointing out real issues, not made up ones. Outside of an Avenger not getting a loan I don’t think anything in this has been ridiculous.

yeah, I think it's vibranium cap suit too, but a thought entered my head about it being the special heart shaped herb that the Panther eats to gain his superstrength. But I'll go with the vibranium cap suit.

Gwyneth/Pepper Potts' head would be hilarious...

But terribly awful fan fiction aside-I think Wakanda built Sam a vibranium Cap/Falcon suit. Why would Sam be Falcon all these years just to 86 that skill set?

Also, the fact that Sam & his sister had to call in "favors" owed to their parents is a terrible story line hole. Everyone in the community would be lining up to help a boy from the Bayou. I mean, c'mon this board KNOWS this.

It absolutely has. Any reasonable black man would have reservations about being fricking Captain America, let alone that black man also having a great friendship with Steve Rogers.

This show hasn’t made me love Sam the way WandaVision made me love Wanda but it’s damn sure made me believe he deserves it and makes me want to see him more as Cap.

Does anyone else feel like Bucky’s fighting abilities have taken a hit? I’m rewatching Civil War and he went toe to toe with Steve and T’Challa multiple times.

His abilities linked somehow to him not letting The Winter Soldier out? I figured he could’ve taken Walker without help. I know Walker had the Shield and the serum but Bucky has proven his fighting abilities before to be pretty close to Steve and T’Challa, both of whom I’m pretty sure would have taken Walker
