Awesome movie, I just hope and pray that if they turn this into a trilogy, the final part isn't like Spiderman 3 (which IMO totally ruined that series)

saw the movie on friday, I really liked it. The only thing that annoyed me was when christian bale turned into batman and used that whispery deep voice. I thought that was silly. I felt like the show was less about Batman and more about the lawyer guy. WTF was Maggie gyllenho doing as the lead femaled. she's soooo fug. Joker was outstanding, give that boy an oscar and a SAG.

You're absolutely right, she was perfect for that role. Her acting was so shitty and her face so ugly that her annihilation was a wonderful moment in the movie. If it was someone I found attractive or interesting at all, that probably would've been a disappointment.
I laughed when someone highlighted her "beauty". Was that the Joker? Maybe he was being sarcastic.

well he had the knife in his mouth..camera cut away...then he dropped like a rock. I think he pulled the knife out and cut his throat..although i dont know for sure

At the end when Gordan says 5 people are dead 2 cops, im assuming he's talking about the people harvey killed because batmans going to take the fall? if so what 5 people did harvey kill?

This is my only problem with the movie, and it didn't ruin it, but just made me scratch my head a little.
Why couldn't they just pin the 5 deaths on The Joker or his henchmen, or the mob, or the other dirty cops? I mean they had pretty much destroyed the whole city.
Its not like its that far fetched that they would have killed a few more people. Why did Batman have to take the fall??? (Other than a reason to make him "The Dark Knight" of course.)
