Maybe I'm wrong but one year didn't they do it twice with once before jury and once after jury?

I'm pretty sure they did. But I doubt they have the time to do two battle backs. But who knows this season.

Dani just had a one on one with Nicole A. The more I watch her, the more I see she's the mother in the house this season for the younger, weaker players. She gave Kevin a motivational talk last night where she told him to snap out of it and play. She's telling Nicole A. she'll fix slop for her and help her cook if she needs it because she got sick last night. She was helping David cook yesterday, even going as far as to dig through the fridge to help him find items he was looking for.

I feel old seeing her play this game like this.

I don’t mind battle backs because for every person that comes back it means another double elimination episode, which I LOVE!!

I hate the gimmicks. Imagine the blindsides and throat cutting you’d get if everyone in the house knew the person you screwed over had no chance to come back in the game.

There would be no hesitation to eliminate a physical threat before the battle back anymore.

Janelle just told Tyler that she is an admin on one of his fan pages, and that she talks to his mother on the page. Tyler was like "for real?" You know that has to be a mind trip for someone who grew up a huge Big Brother fan to find out that Janelle is an admin for one of his fan pages.

8/10 recap

Veto ceremony happened yesterday, and to no surprise, nominations remained the same.

My head continue to spin trying to keep up with all of Cody's alliances, and that didn't change yesterday.

The alliance of Cody, Memphis, Dani, Nicole F, Tyler and Christmas was formed/confirmed. Memphis locked in Christmas yesterday. He pretended like he hadn't talked to the rest of them about it though, and that she should bring it up to Cody. Memphis mentioned wanting Bayleigh in the alliance instead of Nicole F, but thinks Bay and DaVonne have too close of a bond already.

I just personally don't see this alliance working very well. They all want to keep their distance, and to start they already don't trust each other. Almost all of them have expressed doubts about another, mainly to Cody. Never meeting as a group means they likely won't gain that trust to truly work as a unit.

As far as voting, I don't know what the hell Keesha is doing. She is laying pretty low for someone who might go home. Kevin feels like he has 8 votes to stay. He is at least out there trying to see where everyone is at. I'm thinking that nobody will want to be in the minority, and all will end up voting Keesha out because she doesn't have the numbers.

This would be a good move.

Nicole F. is a headcase in there right now and Janelle isn't helping. She's just picking at her with questions and comments about all of her showmances that are clearly meant to make Nicole uncomfortable. It's awesome to watch.

Yeah, I'm with you. People need reassurances, and if you're not meeting as a group then someone is going to get paranoid. But I think it will work for them in the short term (they at least won't be targeting each other early on). Now if Memphis somehow wins HoH this week, I could see it helping solidify the group some. But you have to have some group meetings periodically just to reassure everyone.

At some point each one of them has said to one of the others that they don't really trust a person that's in the group.

I think the majority of the house has played this part of the game before coming into the house, so they are just playing that out right now.

Can someone elaborate on the hate for Christmas(besides having a stupid name). I know I didn't like her, but it's been so long, I can't remember why?

I'm indifferent on Christmas. I think she gets some hate with how her season played out after she broke her foot. Letting her vote for an eviction from her hospital bed was so ridiculous. That's more on the producers for allowing it than on her, but still ridiculous. She was also close to Paul, so that's some of it as well.

I can't think of anything she specifically did that turned people off.

I think some don't like her "loud" personality. She has a tendency to talk over people, and she also has the tendency to be a one upper in conversations. Also her getting dragged to the end of her season by Paul because she couldn't walk was annoying (smart on his part but annoying that the rest of the house let it happen). Paul even rigged a "running" comp so that everyone let her win. But also just being one of his minions, and how toxic they were didn't help.

Keep in mind that she was arrested because she rammed her car into some other chick's car that Christmas' husband was cheating on her with (she did this while pregnant). So she is obviously a little nuts.

Christmas was too close to Paul, so I hated her in her season.

Production went out of their way to help her by keeping her in the game when she broke her foot, so I hated her.

We shall see if she or production makes me hate her this season. She's nice to look at though, so ...

And then proceeded to name the kid "Loyal" Yeah, she's not going to make that kid hate its dad or anything

I hate her simply for aligning with my personal most hated house guest of all time. Possibly, my most hated reality personality of all time. I can't stand Paul.

This was where it started for me.

She cast a vote from a hospital bed. She was allowed to remain in the game. She spent the entire summer drugged up and taking up a spot from someone else who could actually compete.

It didn't help that she developed an obsessive like crush on Paul through all of that.
