8/9 recap

Sunday - 8/9

Another day, another alliance for Cody in the BB house. Biggest take away from today was Cody teaming up with Bay, DaVonne and Enzo. They had a meeting and agreed to work together. They all want to work closely with one other person (Cody with Tyler, Bay with Janelle, Enzo with Ian, Day with Dani). I don't see this group ever working, especially trying to bring Janelle in.

Cody seems dead set on working with Memphis, but this group wasn't receptive to it (don't worry you still have 5 other groups that may be ok with it).

Right now it seems like the votes are leaning pretty heavily to keeping Kevin. Janelle and Kaysar would be set on keeping Keesha. Memphis has told Keesha he would keep her, but I don't think that's the truth. Bay hasn't given an answer, but she will probably just go with the majority. Not sure about Christmas, but the rest seem to want to keep Kevin.

On another notes, production seems to really be struggling. All of them have complained about how incredibly cold the house is. They also seem to not have any hot water in the showers. Ian has gotten sick from eating slop. Memphis has quit eating it all together, and now Nicole A was really sick last night. I see slop being gone soon.

Cody is going to have to really lay low for a while now, and hope Kaysar and Janelle don't win HOH. He has deals with the entire house, and would screw himself by winning. Will be interesting to see if this strategy pays off. He basically put himself in a position where he can't win HOHs going forward.

They spend over half of their day complaining about the house being cold or the showers.

What I gathered yesterday is that Cody's main alliance that he wants to do damage with is himself, Dani, Enzo and Nicole F (although she seems replaceable or interchangeable because she's a weak emotional player). They want to add Tyler, Memphis and a handful of others to the second tier of it to be able to knock off the other side, then when they have the numbers it'll come down to winning HOHs with their numbers advantage and controlling the vote, but that wouldn't be until the final six or seven.

This was based on a conversation Cody had with Dani, and as of now I'd say either Dani or Memphis are Cody's #1 ally, with Dani being slightly ahead of Memphis just because Cody talks way more game with her.

Also Cody spent a lot of random time with David yesterday. He was teaching him how to pivot and change the conversation when someone enters a room. He taught him a good hiding spot in order to talk in the bathroom while knowing someone is coming. Last night they also spent a good hour together. Cody might not have solidified an alliance but he has spent hardly any time alone in HOH this week and a majority of his time out and about in the house socializing and building relationships. I'm sure Derrick hammered that point into him, don't spend your HOH week upstairs away from everyone, but he's done a good job with it. It also makes it harder for the rest of the house to have a good read on who all you're talking to and looking to work with.

Yeah, Cody and Enzo made another alliance with Bay & Day last night. It going to get tricky for Cody and Enzo as the numbers dwindle, these people might end up comparing notes. That is what got Cody's brother clocked in BB18.

On another note, I found this pretty funny:

Nicole F- It was probable he (Paul) would have been here. Da'Vonne- I thought he was going to be. Nicole- You probably would have made up. Da'Vonne- If not, I would have had to get him before he got me. They would have gave his arse friendship bracelets, necklaces, anklets #BB22

Kevin- Do not repeat this to anybody. If I were to become HoH, you know who I would put up on the block? Janelle and Kaysar. You know why? They took the Safety Suite. Nicole A- I respect that a lot. I like that a lot #BB22

Janelle/Kaysar are fricked next week unless Janelle wins HOH.

I still don't understand Janelle's logic in playing in the safety comp. I know that she thought that Kaysar could time out and not win it, but she had to have considered the fact that production wants people to win it so it's not going to be overly hard. That could be a critical a mistake on her part.

Yeah, they are going to have to win HOH and do some crazy work regarding relationships with the other HGs. Still won't be enough imo. Their only real hope is one going and the other is allowed to meld back into the groups, don't see that ever happening with both of them there.

It’s still only Monday, the tide can still turn tremendously.

It can, but the overall feel of the house right now is that nobody will rock the boat. Hell, they don't even want to get in the boat, for fear of rocking it.

True but to me on All stars, players are way more calculated and I just see them being the easy targets for the entire house to rally against. There are certain players that I think fans kind of assumed would be on their side, Memphis being the big one, and its clear he would rather work with Cody.

So I'm pretty sure Enzo won't use the veto this afternoon..Who's goin home? Keesha or Kevin? From what I've seen it still has the chance to go either way. It was leaning to send Keesha home but can Kevin keep his mouth shut that long? Or can Keesha make some deals to stay?

Who you got?

I say Kevin stays, Keesha goes. But I haven't really kept up with what's been going on today.

Feeds are down now for the veto ceremony.

Seems Kevin is staying. Memphis has told he is keeping Keesha but has been acting the total opposite to some of the others. The people who are most wanting Keesha to stay (Janelle/Kaysar), I don't think they are going to push hard for it and make even bigger targets for themselves.

Kaysar has said he talked to Memphis and Memphis is fine with Keesha leaving. Kaysar told Janelle if Memphis is fine with her leaving, why the hell should he even fight for her to stay?

Keesha/Kevin only talk to each other when I watch feeds. They are as far outside any group or gameplay as any two people in the house. Even if Nicole A is lost, she's still got people who want to game with her.

Its a shitty spot because keeping her would be better for their game but they would need to flip at least 4-5 votes. Not worth it even if they could get close.

With as much as they're paying these people, this is not the last we'll see of any of these first boots. There will some sort of battle back, or maybe even some sort of camp comeback type thing where the evictees will be able to stay in the house. But as much as I hate battle back type stuff, I think it is almost a given.

No doubt, many have already talked about how it will happen. Probably after the first 4 evictions.

Maybe I'm wrong but one year didn't they do it twice with once before jury and once after jury?

Season 18 for sure. Vic won both times.
