At this point, they need to cancel this show mid season and blame it on Covid or wildfires or whatever . . . just make it stop! CBS has gotten so far removed from what made this show popular in the earlier seasons that it is just sad. The successful early seasons were:

1. Hot women in bikinis
2. Alcohol
3. Muscle heads trying to score with hot women
4. Televised competitions with hot women doing goofy stuff resulting in wet t-shirts
5. Alcohol
6. Hot women in bikinis

Screw CBS for watering this show down to a bunch of SJW’s walking around in sweatshirts and crying about their life outside the house

Sounds like you'd rather watch a porno than BB.

Exactly, he would be so much better with a different ally.

Big brother at its core is a social and strategic game. If you simply want to watch hot young people trying to hook up there's the bachelor, love island, ex on the beach, and probably oooooohhh a few hundred other shows that fit that bill

Probably . . . but that’s not the point. By watering down the show, they have eliminated most of the drama. No jealousy when one player hooks up with another, no alcohol induced slip-ups where someone says just a little too much truth. Hell, about the only time you see the back yard now is for HOH competitions. The players used to have more opportunity do do stuff other than lounge around in bed. It’s just become too damn boring.

2 things have killed the show, IMO.

1. Bitter juries. It started with the season Ian won. Dan pretty much dominated that season, but lost 6-1 to the jury. Ian played a good game that season, but not even in the same universe as Dan's game that season. It's gotten worse since then. As much as I hate Paul, he should have won both seasons he came in 2nd. Part of it was his fault for not owning his game though, but there's no question those juries were bitter. It's made players timid to actually play. Floating and laying low has become the primary strategy, and that makes the game boring.

2. Casting. The casts the first 15 or so seasons were mostly great and diverse. Lots of interesting people, from all walks of life and all age groups. The casting has trended younger and most towards people looking to further their careers in later years. It has given us a lot of players not really in there to play the game. Make a name for themselves, protect their brand/image, cash in once the season is over. Tyler pimping Angela's crap last night made me want to punch him in the face.

While I agree that people shouldn't be a bitter jury member and vote for the most deserving. I don't have a problem with it in general. There is a part of the game that is about making it through to the end without the blood on your hands.

Dan even knew this and wasn't that surprised to see it happen but for him I believe the victory was still finding a way to make it till the end. The way he worked his way to the final 2 in the last half of the season is one of the best displays in BB history.

Agreed on Paul but I was happy to see him not win because I think the strategy he went with at times was the easy one, especially in the 2nd season. It was effective but not when it mattered the most.

100% agreed on this, they use to do a great job of getting people that were very well rounded. It feels more like now its just people that got rejected from another tv show and are applying till the get the chance to pump their social media numbers.

I don't have a problem with bitter juries in general, especially in Paul's case. But it has affected game play.

But what about the forensic audiologists that CBS hired? Do these people forget that Day said she was basing her game on race and race alone?

I haven’t watched feeds since before eviction. Did Memphis make any kind of longer term deal with David beyond this week?

I went from wanting David gone week 1 to hoping he keeps surviving just a little bit longer. He’s such a mess, I hate to lose him now.

I’ve laughed my arse off a couple nights listening to Enzo and Kevin discuss game on the outside couch late nights. I’d prefer Kevin stick around. Davonne needs to go.
