No, when you have 8+ million and are 33 and marry a 23 year old,...I mean, that's an OT dream scenario.

Man, this episode is up there with the best television show episodes I've ever seen.
I support this position.
In this one little episode, the writers:
1. Gave us a large chuck of Mike's back story, which answers a lot questions BB watchers have had about Mike; it also lays a foundation for the BCS folks that allows for a full development of the character.
2. Shows the beginning of a business relationship between Slippin Jimmy and Mike.
3. Establishes the beginning of Jimmy being considered a real defense attorney. When a guy like Mike brings in an attorney to represent him in a murder investigation, cops take notice and let's folks know you are for real.
4. Explains why Mike took Jessie under his wing. Jessie, like Mike's son (Matt), wasn't fully committed to the life of crime. Mike was trying to pull Jessie out of the underworld in order to offset the fact that he pushed Matt into it.
5. Let's us know that BCS is going to be more than a one character show. Mike is going to get a lot of airtime in this series.

Ok what was the deal with him going into the police car? I know someone earlier said he planted a gun, but I apparently missed that.
Posted on 3/10/15 at 7:34 am to WG_Dawg
He put the revolver in the back seat because he knew they would take his automatic, which they did. It was unloaded.

Ok I'm an idiot. While watching I just assumed he had the revolver on his person and then tucked it into the seat. I guess I never put 2 and 2 together that he had put it in there when he broke in.
Duh.
Duh.

Best episode of the season by far
Great job by banks. Love it. I hate to use breaking bad references in regards to BCS but this episode had a very breaking bad feel to it. Very dark and I loved it
Bravo

I would feel pretty comfortable putting S1 of BCS up there with 1 of BB.
Obviously you can't extrapolate and say the series will be as good, but just talking right out of the gates this has certainly been a home run IMO.

It still hooked me bad from the start, but compared to the rest of it it was definitely "weak", by BB standards.

It does bother me that Kaylee was bascially the same age as in BB.
Gilligan's continuity in his shows has been air tight. He is too good of a show-runner to let that slip (I mean, if we are 6 years before BB, Kayley would have been 12 years old, almost a teen in BB)
You have to wonder why something that canon breaking was even considered to be in this show. I mean the girl looks around 5-6 years old in BCS, you could have made her an infant or toddler and it would have made sense.
Loved the episode.

The Breaking Bad wiki page lists Kaylee's age as 10. So she would have been 3-4 in BCS.

I guess it's not that big of a stretch.
Though she doesnt look 10 in BB and definitely not 3-4 in BCS, maybe 5-6, then again I'm basing this off the fact that I have a 4 (turning 5 this month) and 6 year old daughters.

it's not, but it does bother me a little bit too. Something so obvious that they overlook

Hector didn't go to a nursing home until after Tuco was shot, which was after Breaking Bad started. I don't think we'll see Hector in BCS.
I'm expecting that we see a pre-stroke Hector.

Great point that I didn't think of that further confirms how great the writing is on these shows.
