They are two different animals.

This is more of a dark comedy like Breaking Bad was in season 1. BCS has more comedy to it than drama so far, but tonight that might change.

I get exited on Sunday nights bc I thunk BCS is coming on, then I remember it plays on Monday. The series premier was on a Sunday, right?

They had a two-night premiere , sunday after TWD and then the very next night in it's reg timeslot on monday.

I think they used the lead-in from TWD for maximum exposure of the premiere.

I guess that's why I'm always thinking it plays on Sunday's.

i disagree. it definitely has some comedy because Saul the character is hilarious. But the tone of the show, at least to me, has been full on drama.

You disagree that BCS has more comedy in it than BB?

those gifs constitute a couple of minutes total. While there is lots of funny moments in the show, i still wouldn't call it a comedy.

I never called it a comedy, I could post a ton more gifs also, and we are just on episode 5. I said it was more of a dark comedy than a drama to me.

Obviously there are drama elements and the overall arc is drama, but there are a *ton* of straight comedy moments, and seeing how Odenkirk comes from a comedy background...

That's all i meant.

no, but you did say it was more of a dark comedy than a drama. To me its more drama. I can see your stance on it, just not how I see it.

As I see your stance as well. I consider it ...now... with all the laughs packed in every episode so far to have more dark comedic elements than flat out drama like BB was.

There's at least 2-3 good laughs if not more per episode and we are only halfway through.

Tonight will see the series shift towards drama though I assume.

I guess my definition of dark comedy is drama, but with laughs sprinkled throughout.
