FWIW when Odenkirk was on Daily SHow the other day, he made it sound like episode 2 gets crazy

You have to believe it. This is Tuco we're talking about. He won't be remaining calm for a full episode.

I hope to see his cousins and him share screen time for a moment. I think he called the old lady his grandma

Sepinwall thinks that it was a clean-cut Skinny Pete getting the wand when Saul left the courthouse.

Welp. That pretty much settles it. Unless he's trolling.

This pilot could afford be slow because AMC knows people are gonna stick around to watch more. It's piggy-backing off one of the most successful series of all time. It didn't have to "shock and awe" people to get them to hang around. I, for one, loved the episode.

Tuco was always one of my more favorite characters from Breaking bad. Hope he is around for awhile.

Season 2. Never know, not like Tuco dies soon.

Really enjoyed the episode. Totally didn't expect Tuco there at the end.

The one downside I can see is that if you didn't watch Breaking Bad you would sort of have no idea what's the hubbub about with Tuco, Mike, the entire beginning B&W scene, etc.

Looks like episode 2 will show that Tuco is a bad man. You don't have to have seen BB to get that.

Just read the nail salon Jimmy works out of is the same one Saul tried to get Jesse and Walt to launder their money in. :mindblown:

I don't think I've ever seen a show where the introductory episode wasn't slow.

Fargo was pretty crazy right off the bat.

Of course, when there are only 10 episodes, that changes things.

It's ironic Saul's first solo schemes finding himself criminal edeavour, has him involved on the wrong side & interrogation with Tuco too.
