I agree, he and Bucky needed a final scene together after all theyve meant to each other throughout the series.
Cap saved himself from Cap by saying "Bucky is alive" ... You gotta have those 2 go out better than that

Yeah man, bullshite. He's the General of Thanos army, supposed to be a super tactical mind, strong and lightning fast with damn near immortal powers as long as his glaive is intact. For a normal human to beat him is a fkn travesty

I think the movie implied that Cap and Bucky already had their moment off screen. Bucky seemed like he knew what Cap would do all along.
Yes.
Cap confided with and possibly sought advice from Bucky. That’s his brother. He knew Caps plan. No final conversation required.

Just watched. What a movie.
Losing Tony was tough. Heavy stuff, but well done.
Also essentially losing Cap.
Captain Marvel is so unlikable. It’s bad bad

Endgame was never about the new crew it was about put a ribbon on the original six.
Tony died
Natasha died
Steve retired
Clint retired
Hulk and Thor are the only active members left. Hulk will probably lead the new Avengers and Thor is off with the guardians

That’s fair.
Jesus, this new crew will need some serious development if it’s going to be as successful as the old guard. Like someone said upthread, Tony and Cap carried this franchise.

Then how is Gamora there but Black Widow can't be brought back?
She can be. But its not morally acceptable. If you go back and take her, you just create a new timeline where she disappears. Just like that 2014 timeline now exists where Thanos’s entire force just disappears (including Gamora) and the Guardians likely dont form.

Eh I think they'll be fine. Most likely the new line up will consist of
Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Falcon, and Bucky.
Thor will be with the Guardians with Adam Warlock coming soon as well
We're getting the Fantastic Four eventually with Doom probably being the villain of Avengers 5 and Galactus being the big villain

No shite. In that timeline that dark elves where in route to take the eather.

Actually, if the Banner/Sorcerer Supreme conversation is to be believed, the events of Endgame generated 3 additional timelines to the prime what we know and love.
But only one persisted after the end of the film: 2012 New York with Loki leaving with the space stone. An infinity stone is required to sustain a multiverse branch, and he took one with him without knowing what it means.
The rest collapsed with Rodgers returning the stones to their locations. Presumably he returned the hammer without it being noticed being missing.
Gamora 2012 is still there but she is “trapped,” there is no home to return to.

Gonna def be interesting to see how they go from here. Honestly, I think the ride is over. I just cant see them sustaining the momentum theyve built the past 10 years going forward without Tony and Steve. More than that but I believe fan fatigue will set in at some point and there arent many actors/characters that can be brought in to keep us interested for another decade.

This. If they try to push her as anything more than the new Nat then it’s just not going to work. She doesn’t have the charisma or the charm RDJ or Evans had. Neither do Boseman or Cumberbatch. It’s exactly why I worry for the MCU going forward. All of their “new trinity” are kind of boring. CM literally has no flaws. BP is a king and Strange is weird and a sorcerer.
People were able to relate to Tony and Cap and Nat and Clint because they all had flaws, they were human. We connected with them. We haven’t been able to do that with those 3 and probably won’t be able to

I’m in the minority here but I was kinda turned on by the short hair. She may be a count IRL, but that won’t stop me from poking it if given the chance.
