Hollie looked really pretty tonight. I thought she did really well except at the end there.

That being said, he could be lying.

Just got done watching this on the DVR and let this be a lesson to all future contestants:

If you have four warrants out for your arrest, don't go on national fricking TV!!! And this especially applies if you are so physically big that no one will forget what you look like.

I had no problem with the producers for the way they handled the matter publicly.

Im going to preface this by saying I agree with those that think there will not be a cut this week because of Jeremiah leaving the show.

This week was definitely not as strong as last. I predicted that Shannon would bounce back after struggling pretty bad last week with Whitney (I still feel that if she tried again, she would hit that song pretty good). I liked her performance and she is definitely one of the top 6 that is left right now.

I enjoyed Ledet's performance but absolutely disagree with J Lo saying that it was the best ever on American Idol. Maybe one of the top performances since she has been a judge during these last two seasons but no way THE best ever. Ledet is turning into a pretty strong contender. He will be around awhile but I do not think he has much of a chance at winning the whole thing. With his style of singing, he will grow boring and will produce a dud or two soon.

Jessica Sanchez took a step back this week. She tried to change it up too much and do a faster pace song but her wheel house is doing power ballads. She needs to stick to that.

Phil Phillips had another solid performance. Im a fan of his. I think he will be in this thing for a while. Will be interesting to see his song selection especially considering the random themes idol makes you do.

Skylar was strong this week. This girl reminds me of Reba so much. Attitude and voice are pretty much the same. She definitely has a future being the young feisty girl in country. WIll be cool to see her and Lauren Alaina both having competing country careers.

I like Colton a lot but didn't think this week was great for him. It was not a very memorable performance. Good enough to save him but he needs to bounce back strong.

Elise was okay this week. I actually liked her performance last week. I know that isn't a popular opinion. Wasn't a big fan this week.

Heyjun, Deandre and erika were not good. I liked Deandre and Erika last week. I just wasn't in to their performances this week. Heyjun is probably on the chopping block.

This leads me to my girl Hollie
She was my favorite performance of the night. Just like last week, she was my favorite. She and Jessica probably have the most range of all the singers left. But in the voice department i prefer Hollie>Jessica. At this point it is obvious that I am a little biased to Hollie. But I honestly think she is the best and if it ended today, she should win.

I wouldn't even say it was the best of the season. It was about even with Hollie last night and fell short of Jessica last week.

Just reading through some of the comments from last night.

Why can't Elise get any love??

I dig her voice a lot. She is much better than Erika IMO and the judges seem to favor Erika.
