Like you said, Shannon wasn't going far. She was very likable, but she just really sang poorly both weeks.
Heyjun was awful too, but he wasn't even in the bottom 3, so he obviously has a strong fan base. Or he's like Sanjaya and fans just vote for him so they can continue to laugh at him every week.

It's a joke that Heejun is still in this and Shannon had to go. Heejun is terrible and has no chance.

As you have all been greatly anticipating here is my 4 days late Idol opinion
Elise IMO should be the front runner. Unfortunately she doesn't have the fanbase to make it much farther. Also is it just me or is she starting to get cuter.
I agree with the person who said Josh makes everything a church song. BORING!!!!! I find it funny that he is so "churchy" yet obviously a homosexual just like the dude from last year(who had the same bad habit of making everything in to a gospel song)
The undisputed greatest performance ever is Kris Allen singing Kayne West. That is the only performance in Idol history to single handedly win the competition he was a sure thing to get eliminated that week and that song changed everything it didn't matter what he sung after that he was going to win.
Second best could probable about 20 different performances but I'll go with Taylor Hicks singing Stevie Wonder video: LINK
