The video game has the voices from the animated series.

It's called the league of assassins in the comics so it's definitely borrowed; just a name change.
Edit
sorry, didn't see everyone already jumped you about it

I really felt a sense of dread during the football game scene. For some reason, it made me think of 9/11.

I was just trying to frick with him. But I am seriously wondering why Nolan changed the pronunciation to Ra's instead of Raysh

I was still laughing from "What a lovely singing voice"

Our whole theatre busted out laughing at that

The singing voice line, the line when Selina disapears, and the remember where you parked lines were all great.

"So that's what it feels like..."

1. They never said how Blake knew Batman's identity, correct?
2. Why did Bane want to wait 5 months before destroying Gotham?
3. Although I thought this was a great movie, I still think The Dark Knight is the best of the series. The Joker is just more my style.

Yeah, they did. Blake said that as soon as he saw him for the first time in person he knew because he had the same expression on his face that he (John Blake) wore.

Because Bane wanted to destroy Bruce's soul by watching his city plunge into anarchy before finally destroying it completely.

I remember that, but how would seeing Bruce Wayne looking sad make a kid realize that he's Batman, just because they are both orphans?

It's actually an homage to the comic book. Tim Drake, who was Robin for a time, became Robin after he worked out Batman's secret identity all on his own. Someone on another forum actually pointed this out and deduced that this is why his real name was "Robin" and not "Dick Grayson." John Blake embodied all of the Robins from the classic era. He was orphaned, like Dick Grayson; he was hot-headed, like Jason Todd; and he worked out Batman's secret identity on his own, like Tim Drake.

One complaint I don't get is the not being able to hear some lines because I had zero trouble hearing and understanding what was said.

This is kind of a stretch
He isn't an acrobat, he isn't a master detective. All of the robins were orphans (even drake eventually) I think you're seeing what you want to see and I would bet money Nolan did not intend to incorporate different aspects of the robin.
His name is not Grayson, todd or drake because it is supposed to be a surprise that he is robin or becomes the next batman.

I had trouble understanding some of the lines. The audio mix seemed a little off in our theater.
AMAZING movie.
AMAZING movie.

A couple of times I had trouble understanding what the guy in the pit prison was saying. Bane on one occasion maybe

And because ideally, the point was the city was to destroy itself.

quote:HOLY shite! He kept doing that and I was wondering why that motion looked familiar to me since I hadn't seen any trailers. You figured it out!
I like that Bane copied Jarrett Lee's habit of grabbing his collar.
