It was a pretty crappy production. The viewer can't grasp the amount of time 21 days in the wild really is in only an hour.. Where a day may be only one or two minutes.
A better show would be an entire season focusing on one or two couples.

The lady that's on episode two (I think it's 2) is from my town. She interviewed for over a dozen reality shows before betting picked up for this one.

Otherwise how much would it suck to show up and be like, "Yeah, I brought a fire starting kit!"

I know we're only getting small portions of each day, but it really seemed like they didn't even try to find food for a while.
Shane seemed like a total douche, but again it might be the editing, and who wouldn't be a little bit grouchy going through that?
Will watch again.
