Wait jaws is 221 and interstellar is 31

Their entire list is now discredited

Life is beautiful is perhaps the best holocaust movie simply because the despair comes after joy. Pretty chilling opening scene when he pulls down the door

I don't know when it started, but I have noticed the trendy thing lately is to shite on the old Star Wars movies. I guess it's edgy or something.

this movie from the first minute till he entered the black hole would be my number one movie ever. then black hole and everything until the last 3 minutes ( really enjoyed everything from "you told them i like farming?" on) happened and it falls solidly outside of my top 10.

Yeah, the ending was a stretch. But the rest of the movie was so good I still rank it high. It gets hated on more frequently than I'd expect and I don't know why.

Star wars is Michael bay before Michael bay

Never seen life is beautiful- don't care too

Interstellar was a really wtf?

Love the Green Mile

Vertigo- never seen

NC4OM- the biggest POS alongside birdman. Awful, and boring

We will just agree to disagree. Vertigo is one of my all time favorites, and one of my favorite Hitchcock movies along with North by Northwest. And it's not just IMDB that thinks highly of Vertigo, but the AFI as well. I can see how today's audiences would find it slow, but Vertigo just sucked me in when I first saw it.

I generally like to think opinions can't be either good or bad, but this proves they certainly can be bad.

Exactly, it means nothing. IMBD is a place flooded with "fanboys." Marvel, DC, and a growing one - Nolan fans. Those posters will attack if you dare give a Nolan film anything less than a 10

I'd love to know the demographics of those IMDB uses to determine such pronouncements. Some of their high-rated movies are ridiculous and recent. I believe there are certain generational characteristics which make only recent things memorable - and I'm talking not about Alzheimer's memory, but actually supposedly functional youthful memory patterns.
