By turning politics into a dichotomy you effectively end actual political discourse. Thus, leaders in power can get anything passed without any real opposition because you always have at least half the people on your side. This way politicians can pander to special interests (lobbyists, corporations, etc...) and not even have to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. This is a little on the over the top conspiracy theory side but I think it is at least partially correct.
As was pointed out earlier in this forum, our political machine has turned into essential a 'us vs them' system where people blindly follow one side and discredit anything the other side does. The American people have become sheep blindly following talking heads on the tv. Whether it be liberal talking heads, conservative talking heads, or fricking Paris Hilton. We do not think for ourselves. It is very scary. People have become more interested in their 'team' winning than the actual game, the good of the nation. This is what Washington was afraid of when he wrote about the downfalls of a two party system.
Anywho, what time is scrubs?

If Obama was cutting into lost people would flip out. I want my final scrubs episodes rather than the leader of the welfare. Move lost to 9 and put scrubs on at 8
