Non comic fans: have your experienced Marvel fatigue yet?

Not trying to be snide or "I would never read a comic" about this. But I'm at a point where I couldn't care less that we are 2 years away from The Avengers 8 or whatever Antman flick we're getting. I did really like Ragnarok, and I've loved all the Captain movies, so I'm not saying they're bad. But it's just soooooooooooooooooooooo much. I watched Thor and I'm sure there are 3 or 4 other movies I might have missed that would explain some of the references and siutaions in the movie.
People moan about how many Star Wars movies there are, but they honestly can't hold a candle to how many MCU movies we've had and are going to get.
My wife likes them and I'll gladly redbox them at some point, but I'm over the "have to see it in the theater" phase with these movies.
So I'm curious if this is mainly because I don't have the reverence and background with the comics. My wife doesn't either, but she's a fan of, at the end of a long day, watching something that doesn't make her think.

Yes. They are all the same to me.
Good guys must stop bad guys from getting some magical item so bad guy doesn't destroy world. Good guys win.
I will still watch them eventually because they are fun movies, but they are not something I go out of my way for, and I definitely don't pay to see them in theaters anymore.

Only when they are steaming piles of shite like the last one.
I've liked all the Marvel movies. There are and will be a lot of them due to the fact that they are easy to convert to movie. It seems like the majority of movies now are either from comics, books, or redux of previous version.

You can't watch 2-3 movies a year without developing fatigue?

I have tried the comic movies and they just dont do it for me. I only enjoyed spiderman. I have tried the hulk, avengers, and a couple others and mehhh. I just dont get it. But everyone is different, and enjoy different things.

Of the same chaotic shite over and over? Sure can't.
"Movie is over. Let's wait out the credits to see what 5 movies they are going to tease."

I was at that point after the string of Ultron/Ant-Man/Dr Strange/Guardians 2. All just meh
Then Ragnarok and Black Panther happened and were fricking awesome, and now I'm pumped for Avengers again

I've heard a lot of good things about the new Spiderman (I liked the kid in Civil War), so I guess at some point I should check it out. But it's the whole "another super hero movie........."

We rented TLJ (had fully intended on seeing that in the theater....bullet dodged), and when I went to return it "see if they have Ragnarok".
Ugh. Dammit.
But it turned out really good. Thor and Hulk was priceless.
That sums it up. Hate the idea going in, but will probably like it.

I hit a stretch of fatigue around the time of Iron Man 3 and Thor 2. I actually haven't seen either and it took me a long time to see Winter Soldier. But they sucked me back in with Guardians and they've been on a roll lately, so I'm super pumped for Infinity War.

I like the movies but Thor is the only one I've seen in theaters. I can wait until the rest make it to redbox. Everyone is so excited for the new avengers movie coming out but I don't really care. Not in a rush to see it.
I can understand how some people are getting fatigue over them.

Nope, not at all. Marvel and Star Wars are the only "must see in theaters" movies for me because it's a different atmosphere.
I didn't read any comics but I think the MCU is awesome and to be honest, I don't understand the fatigue. Nobody is forcing anyone to see them and it's not like there is a movie a month.

Burnt out around the time Doctor Strange came out. Haven't even seen Spider-Man yet.

That's not the point. I'm saying they are generally good flicks, minus a few exceptions, but I just can't keep up.
On sort of a side note, I was somewhat on board with the first Guardians, second one just killed it for me on that series. Was so dumb and I couldn't wait for it to end.

Guardians 2 is garbage.

That's nearly every action movie.

I stopped going. I really only went because groups of my friends wanted to go but I've never been a big comic book fan and while I've enjoyed the movies, there's just so many of them and they're so long I just don't feel like watching them.

No and I want more. I'm not even close to getting tired of chasing of the dragon.

Sure.
And that is probably why action movies don't really interest me anymore either.
