Only one reason to be interested in that movie IMO.

I am interested because it looks like they took scenes and actions directly from the games.

Since I can easily find her nudes on Reddit, that's no reason to watch either.

And that reason is that Walton Goggins is playing the villain.

Yeah, it looks really, really bad. I'm probably going to see it because I have moviepass so why not. Also I love Vikander and Goggins.

Modern Tomb Raider seems like an extremely easy video game to film adaptation. If this movie sucks, it has nothing to do with video games just not making good movies but everything to do with the people behind making the films.

Only reason I'm considering it is because I'm borderline in love with Alicia Vikander.

I enjoyed it. Decent action-Adventure popcorn flick. Beginning/set-up dragged a little too long, but a sequel shouldn’t have that problem.

Most modern games should be easy to adapt. So many are essentially movies as it is. For whatever reason studios treat them like trash, put mediocre writers on them, and change so much they are barely related to the games.

Tomb Raider should be easy as hell to do. The rebooted game that came out a few years ago is basically an interactive story board.

That said, this movie could be the great and nobody would know b/c the marketing has been terrible.

Buddy of mine wanted to go see it so we went around 9:30. With Spring Break and it being Friday night there were only 15 of us in the IMAX to see it.

It was decent but drug along and had me laughing at the ridiculousness of some of the stunts. Wait for it to leave the theater for sure.
