I had no idea Parasite is viewed as propaganda. Gave zero thought to that each time I've watched it and have never heard that before.

All of that director's films are definitely classist propaganda. But they are well made.

Love me some Joon Ho movies. Memories of a Murder should have been higher up on the list. I guess pencil me in as a classist propogandist!

#2....?

Saw it twice, never considered thrice.

Lynch is on lists by the same crowd that puts Morrissey in Top 20 all-time music artists lists.

Ok. Mother is great too.

He isn't subtle, though.

Had no clue this wasn't commonly accepted All of my film snob friends say that, and they are pretty damn left leaning.

He is a far left progressive, and big on classism.

South Korea is an extremely class-based social structure. Their social structure is what AOC thinks the US is. . .

Absolute crazy talk Its one of the best directors of all time at the height of his game. Incredible dialogue, tension, and performances

It really isn’t that impressive. It’s a war satire. People who love this are the same people who Iove Mad Men because Twitter told them it was great. No different from Get Out or Black Panther being the best marvel movie. Just a different group of people.

It is the intelligence curve of movies.

Really shocked that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is not in the top 10
Likewise.

I found it to be a remarkable film in every aspect. DiCaprio should’ve gotten an Oscar.
It’s the epitome of Tarantino’s adult fairytales.

Obligatory: the year 2000 isn't in the 21st century.
