I had high hopes for this but something just felt off in the trailer. Maybe it was just a bad trailer. But her performance…just based on that trailer…feels worrisome. It was so wooden.
It’s not gonna work if she sucks as Kara. But there have been plenty of shitty trailers that have turned out to have good movies. I’m not bailing yet, but I’m cautious for sure

Yeah maybe that’s it. But on a second watch through, all of the acting seems off. Again, could be the cuts or something. All of them sounded as they were reading their lines like they were bored, as if they would rather be doing anything else. Kind of felt like everyone did it for the paycheck, especially Milly. She’s a good actress but this might not be her thing

I don’t and didn’t make the claim. But it made lots of (fake news?) headlines that he was a notable no show and used PRE production as some super cereal thing he had to do instead.

Word is he’s going back to Marvel/Disney. They want him back and DC knows the Batman/Penguin side of DC is the much healthier direction. All Gunn’s shite is bombing. Superman didn’t make money, Peacemaker was cancelled, Lanterns is going to be awful, Supergirl won’t make any money. The whole Gunnverse is a money pit with zero momentum.

We know the movies and shows are bad but if they’re successful he’s in great shape. They aren’t and his rollout of the universe leaves him no lane to course correct. Supergirl is a liked character but won’t ignite or recoup what Superman failed to do. Lanterns is being run and written by the people who brought you the Watchmen series, True Detective night country and the worst modern comic book writer alive. It’ll be 4 straight failures in 4 attempts. But you do have a viable option on the other side that can have success. I get the simps are gonna kick and scream like always but it’s not that difficult to understand.
