This movie takes place over 45 years after Windu's death. That seems like a long time to try and tie Finn in with him, especially considering he can't be a direct descendent without de-railing Windu's character by having him breaking the rules of the Order.

I was thinking. Not allowing Jedi's to procreate is silly. If the force is hereditary, then you are basically telling everyone in the Order to kill off the force. In other words, there is just no way that the order can exist for thousands of years if every time a force sensitive person becomes a Jedi, they have to not have children.
You would think in this universe there would be a lot more dark Jedi and bad force users, since all the good force users have to end their line of force sensitive genetics.
Ergo, all we know about the order came from the prequels and it's likely that many of those things will be tweaked. I doubt we here the word "midiclorians" again for one.

I thought it was just "attachment" that was forbidden? I took it to mean they can go out and slam as many chicks around the galaxy as theyd' like, just don't end up falling in love. It's from AOTC, and it's been a while since I've seen that horrible film, so I could be wrong.

No one's taking offense. It's just an apprehensive attitude toward the same kind of preachy bullshite that helped to make the prequels so crappy.
And now they're building 2 theme parks. Way to squeeze every drop of life out of it, Disney.

How are you getting preachy bullshite from these short clips?
I mean it's 2015, the uproar of a white woman and a black man will only exist in the mond of someone who is not comfortable with other races. It's okay, it's your personal choice and maybe you don't see it that way. Maybe your ex left you for BBC, IDK. Just to attack this entire movie based on maybe 10 pictures and two minutes of previews is insane.

I didn't leave any of the prequels thinking that they were shoving some kind of social agenda down my throat, but then I don't look for that kind of thing in movies.
