It’s now been reported that the next film – Bond 26 – will have a budget of £250m, which is around the same amount Daniel Craig’s final 007 outing No Time to Die cost.

I'm sure they've had general ideas for the next movie on the table for years now while they were fighting with Barbara Broccoli.

Everyone wants Henry Cavill. Which means it will not be Henry Cavill.

They should do a complete reboot set in the 1960s or bring back Pierce Brosnan and do an Old Man Bond movie.

My dream is them to start doing Bond as period pieces, set in the early 60s during the Cold War

Hundred bucks says Bond is saved by the strong woman who is better at everything.

Can't be a Prime show without it

It's the easiest way to not deal with the "death" of James Bond. The only problem will be applying 2025 current society norms to the 1960's when men were men and women were women. No slapping a chick on the arse or a gal dolling herself up to catch a man

I've narrowed my top three choices down to Henry Cavill, Theo James, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Cool. Can't wait to see a non binary Bond, an Arab M, a Somalian pirate as Moneypenny and an autistic chinaman playing Q.

The only actual straight white European will be the villain of course

Cavill FTW

ATJ married a grandma and it weirds me out. And Theo doesn't bring the badass vibes that Cavill does. I don't want just a good looking bond, I want one that reloads his fricking fists

I'm close to the same list. I swap out Cavill with Hiddleston.

Cavill is a solid choice, however he's getting up there in age now. He's about to turn 42. For comparison, Daniel Craig was 37 when he was cast in the role. Before Wilson and Broccoli sold Amazon the rights, they had stated that they were looking for a younger Bond for the next film. Unless the recent turnover brings in filmmakers who are more open to casting an older Bond, I don't think Henry Cavill is in the running. Though I would agree he'd make an excellent Bond.
