Basically I question documentaries now.

as you should. documentary makers are in the business of making money, not telling a true story. and even the ones that are trying to tell an objectively true story have their own biases and opinions that are virtually impossible to keep out. same with podcasts. there is ALWAYS a bias and/or agenda. as much as i like her, Candace Owens' "expose" or whatever this is has its own biases too.

Anyone else seen it?

Yes, and it changed my mind when I got to know what was left out of the documentary. I can't believe how much was left out to change the narrative. I'm hoping Candace takes on the "evidence" that Kathleen Zellner put up as proof of innocence too. Some of that was very compelling if you thought Avery was set up. I'm now in the camp that he did it and we're all blessed that he's locked up for life. What a vile, evil person he is.

The two lesbians that won critical acclaim for making and producing the "so called" documentary had absolutely no alliance to telling the truth.

Shocking

they framed him for that rape back in the day (and that was not justice), but that is irrelevant to his current situation.

They didn't "frame" him for the first rape. The victim pointed the finger at him and said he was the one. That's about a solid as it gets. What were the police supposed to say, "No, let's look at someone else"?

No kidding. People who's very identity is defined by a hatred and defiance lived out specifically to defy and fly in the very face of Truth shouldn't be expected to quibble over such trivialities where any other truth or facts are concerned.

In short there wasn't one event in the entire "documentary" that was portrayed accurately.

Similar to all Netflix crime “documentaries”

Netflix is a fraud- same with the Rapists in their special from the Central Park case, the rapists admitted it and DNA all over the victim, but they left out those parts

The Central Park 5? I got banned from the entire site for an extended period of time for telling the truth about that case on the M/TV board.

I don’t remember most of the original docu series but i seem to recall some really shoddy police work and seemingly planted evidence…this isn’t to say that Avery was/is innocent but that’s not Justice

Yep, and neither actually happened, but again it didn't stop the producers from portraying that it did.

You know what this reminds me of is one of the original media vaudeville tales of the new digital age was Amanda Knox - back when I just mostly believed what the media reported - I assumed she was innocent and railroaded by the crazy Italian justice system - Ann Coulter got my interest peaked with an essay she wrote HERE - and once I looked into it with a critical eye - it was clear she was not only guilty of murder she also caused several others to go to prison for her crimes - unbelievable

They didn't fake the interview, they just didn't show you all of it.

People on this site ate up the Netflix documentary like it was Gospel. It's amazing how gullible people are.
A tale as old as time.

Same with the WM3 and the associated documentaries. Echols most likely killed those kids, people.

Not surprised.

Most documentaries, especially after Michael Moore’s rise to prominence, have the ability to take severe liberties with the truth.

Wouldn’t be the first on Netflix either as Supersize Me was apparently a fraud too.
