Corinthians is the SFP of this board, well, the Dollar Store version, at least.

The pilot of this show was incredible but I could barely make it through season 1. It was just alright. Second season was an abomination. Will not watch season 3.

Yea I honestly thought, and still do, that the pilot was one of the greatest single episodes of TV ever. Taken just by itself, it could be a good movie, it was that good. And there were some other highlights in season 1 but some big lows too. I gave season 2 a go but just gave up midway because the writing was some of the worst I've ever seen in a big budget show, especially for HBO. Also won't watch a second of season 3.

It starts out really strong. I loved the cold openings of the first two episodes, and episode 3 was a good hour of television. But it really starts losing steam after that. The other gay episode with Storm Reid is just bad.

Pilot was outstanding. The rest of the first season had its moments, but kind of fell flat a lot.
I really liked the flashback to the Chinese lady scientist who recognized what was going to happen with the zombie fungus and told the military to fire bomb the entire city.
The end of season 1 was kind of meh. I just wasn't interested enough to devote time to season 2.

True story, making Ellie gay was the first creative decision Druck made after his buddy walked. He created the Left Behind DLC for that express purpose.
That DLC was the basis for the Storm Reid "Riley" character.
Her game character is fine, but forgettable. Ellie is just there to "be gay now"
