Blake whipping out the trophies for Monica

Just watched. Much better show tonight than the last one. Louisiana Boy was good. Loved his tone.

Last guy crushed it! Can't wait to hear what else he does.

So I've never once seen this show but happened to be flipping channels before MNF and came across it and saw a guy I remembered from the 90's band Storyville. Kind of hard to miss a giant albino black guy. Didn't hear him sing, but apparently they tossed him...which is both strange considering I've heard the guy before and because I would have thought he wouldn't have needed to go on that show.

Anyway, for those of you who may not know, here he is back in the 90's with Storyville.

I really enjoyed him. Of course, if you sing Al Green, you've got my attention. I would have liked to have seen him again. I did feel, however, that during parts of the song, I was expecting a few crescendos that we didn't get. I understood what the judges said, but I think that was an easy fix with him and that he was capable of doing more.

Like I said, I've never seen the show and didn't see him perform last night on it. I flipped past and recognized him immediately and, based on me having heard him plenty (what with him fronting part of SRV's band as part of Storyville back in the 90's and putting out 2 CD's) I was kind of surprised they were acting like he was just some guy off the street. Back then, he could sing his arse off...no idea what he sounds like today. Based on simply seeing him again I ordered a copy of their first album off Amazon.



Did they give any backstory for him on the show or was that the one and only time he was on?

I didn't like her at all. It was not a good song choice to show that she could/can sing. I was a little surprised she made the show.

I'm behind, but it wasn't a surprise that Chicago son went with Adam. Good fit. I liked him. I'd like to hear more of his orginal music.

I'm on the attractive rap/pop type chick right now, she seems pretty good.

Sounds like something you'd hear on a pop radio station.

She should have gotten a turn.

Watched last night's episode.

I dug the Louisiana dude. He sounded cool.

Didn't like the Landslide chick (Nina). Awesome song though.

All the coaches are teaming up against Blake in the battles to get people. And he eats it up. And on top of that, people keep choosing him.

I feel like somebody should've picked Malford Milligan but he wasn't overly impressive I guess. He has a ballin arse attitude though.

Justin Blake (the guy who sang Blake's song) sucked I thought.

The 15 year old black chick was decent. Should do well to get some coaching from Christina I think.

Monica Leigh was sometimes bad, sometimes good IMO.

Blake's "three reasons" with his Voice trophies was awesome.

I feel like Kaley Cuoco's sister wasn't too great. And Carson, stop trying to touch Kaley Cuoco.

CeeLo is getting kinda creepy with his pitches. Mainly just talks about wanting to get closer to the singers/their voices. It's weird.

Last dude was good but not over the top awesome for me. Interested to see what songs they pick for him to sing.

Also, I think my new Voice hobby is taking pictures of Carson when he aggravates me. I'll post some tomorrow. I'll try to catch tonight's episode in a little bit.
