The whole live tweeting thing makes sense to me in theory. Because all my initial votes are going to Cole, period. If I know he's safe and I like one of the bottom three, that gives me a chance to try to save another person I like, but never would have voted for otherwise. Of course, for me this is all theory because I don't have a twitter and I didn't care enough last night to create one.

Saw that people were bitching because only the Eastern & Central time zones could live tweet during the show, because the show plays later in Mountain and West... that's pretty dumb.

But that's terrible, if true. At least the people in the live audience would have been able to participate I guess

Absolutely true. They don't watch it the same time as us and the 5-minute window was during the EST/CST live broadcast.

Apparently The Voice's twitter feed prompted people to vote for their favorites in a last minute live save. I don't know if they announced on the tweet who was in the bottom though.

I think the Twitter idea is good in theory, but not execution (at least the way they did it). People need more time, and all people need access to it (like the timezones, for example). But this show has tried to ingrain itself with social media so hard that the Twitter save makes sense.

And for the most part, I think America nailed it last night, even though I'd love to see Tessanne GTFO.

The Twitter idea nullifies votes. I don't like it. I think it's unfair.

Christina should have definitely kept Olivia instead of Josh though.

Nah, Olivia would have gone home last night if she were there. They need to bring 71 year old Swamp Dogg on the show and let him show these kids how to bring it.

That twitter shite is farcical, totally against that. People already voted, let their votes count for something already.

In your opinion, music/vocal appreciation can be quite subjective. I remain clueless to how Blake's third tier guy continues to drag votes, it is mind boggling to me.

Definitely all subjective. I have no idea how Kat even convinced them to turn around during blind auditions. She's terrible, in my opinion. They didn't turn around for several far better singers.

I like Ray... I'd listen to him over Tessanne and Kat for sure among the ones left.

while I don't think she is a top contender and there are many more talented than her, she is one of my favs. I guess it's just a matter of taste

Nah... I don't care enough to be mad. If I was one of the two who went home, I'd be mad, though.

Vor, in this case, you are actually delusional to be specific. You should have stuck with being an exaggerator, but you always push things so far that it backfires.

Jonny and Josh say

I keed, could give a shite. James, was getting a tad worried for that dude IF Carson was actually going most votes to least, which he never articulated, other than leaving the last 3 hanging to promote twitter. Surprised he didn't report on the IPO, etc. Yawnnnn.

I don't think he was going from most votes to least. usually shows that do that actually acknowledge it. i think they do it for dramatic effect. james was probably a top vote getter but they wanted to add the element of suspense that he may be in the bottom 3

I would be extremely surprised if James was really the 4th worst vote getter.

And they started with Caroline, not Matthew (who was #2 on itunes) so there's no way it was in order.
