I guess I can understand that. I think maybe she just comes off as so wedding band singer-y to me. Like she can sing anything good, but nothing great.

Preston singing "Beautiful Girls" was a pretty terrible choice, too.

Normally he bros out with one person (like Tony Lucca) and stays with them regardless of if they're better than others or not. But I'm not sure if he'll pick Tessanne. James is clearly #1 on his team and should be safe, and I think Will/Preston are pretty even. So as long as one of those two make it, I think he will save the other one.

If I have to pick three for each, I'll go:

Pretty easy call for Adam IMO.

Cole
Shelbie
Austin/Ray
It's gonna be tough on Blake because all four of those deserve to continue on IMO, but only three can. I just really, really hope Cole is safe. And if Shelbie is one of the two he has to choose between (because frick Nic), then I think she'll win because she is straight up country.

I think Jacquie and Matthew will be safe and it will come down to Josh and Olivia. I think Josh may be better but I think Christina will go with Olivia (and be wrong).

I just don't see anything that wows me from Tamara, and Amber sucks. The only thing is that CeeLo may want to keep one of them because they are attractive black women (and I'm serious).

I don't think Shelbi will win. I don't think she can hold on that long and not with Jacquie around if Jacquie holds her ground. She's raised the bar on herself with that performance last night. Similar thing happened on AI. There was a girl everyone thought had it in the bag from the beginning. I thought so, too. She went a little downhill and it killed her. She didn't even make the #2 spot. I think she was third or 4th.

I feel like this is a big thing on this show...you don't want to peak to early because then you just appear to go down hill.

Its best to start out steady and just get a little better every week. I thought Danielle was good with that last season.

I agree with you. I'm a little biased since he's a Cajun boy and I know he doesn't have sticking power when it gets down to the wire, but I enjoy him and want him to stay.

Austin, not Ray. I like the guy and all, but that rendition last night was barely above average. I have been drug to see M Broussard 7x and to a local guy multiple times and they kill that song, Ray not so much last night. I just like Austin's voice and the dude is extremely solid every time. Could use a little more tapering.

She may keep Olivia to combat Blake's country edge, but Josh hands down. Josh is unique in what he can do compared to Olivia, I would keep Josh.

I don't care, he has no one that can win. I am so over the coffee house/folk/whisper little girl category of "singing" that even Caroline does nothing for me.

There is a certain demo that has never won the Voice, I expect that to continue. Stephanie Anne has a good enough voice to hang around but I doubt it will happen unless Xtina really wants to help her.

I don't like Josh. I think he does a good job of singing exactly like the person who origionally sings the song, but I would never buy an album by that guy. Not that he sucks, but I'm just sold on him.
