I thought Tessane was very meh. Don't care for her tone.

Overall I was pretty impressed with the performances last night.

I felt the worst two were Nick (not shocking) and Grey, which sucks because I think she is much better then she showed last night.

Yeah, it took a while, but the talent is starting to show itself.

Nick and Grey are gone I think for sure.

It's a tough call for a second elimination from each team.

If I had my preference it would also be Shelby and Tessanne gone, but I think it's going to end up being Ray and Preston.

I remember last season at this stage the top 2 vote-getters from each team were safe and the coaches saved a third. I'm expecting that Austin and Cole got the most votes from Blake's team and James and Will got the most from Adam's team. I would expect Blake to save Honey Boo Boo and Adam to save Tessanne.

Either way some good people are going to go home. And Nick.

I haven't watched yet, but this:

..isn't surprising. I remember early on in the thread during Grey's blind audition that I wasn't near as high on her as anyone else was. I thought she was just okay.

ETA: From page 10:

This Grey chick is decent but I was surprised Adam turned around for her since he has one spot left.

She was pretty good in the battle & knock out rounds if I remember right.

Other than Nick, these two teams are stacked though.

I'm quite sure I already hate Nic's performance...he's fricking bad. And not likeable at all IMO.

I'm definitely not "way behind"; I've only missed one night. I'll try to watch last night's show tonight if I have time. I knew it would be tough for me this week though...busy week. Had poker last night, hospital tonight, LSU bball tomorrow night, and going out of town Thursday night for the weekend. May have a shite ton of DVR catching up to do on my Monday holiday.

Well, that's way behind to me. And, since when does poker overrule The Voice? What ARE you thinking?

Don't understand the hospital thing.

LSU bball is approved.

Going out of town on Th myself. I'll be behind on the XFactor which you should start watching with us since you like singing shows.

Do you all look at the big picture or just go by each performance? I look at their entire body of work. No way would I keep the Asian chick, Nick, Shelby Z, ect over Grey because of one week.

Always. The Voice is pretty much something I make myself watch at this point.

I volunteer there on Tuesday nights. So once I'm done with that, it's later and I can't watch as much (so it's harder to catch up sometimes).

I don't like singing shows...I just enjoy The Voice (mostly). I have no desire to watch AI, or XF, or any other show like that. Like I said, I barely maintain interest in the Voice the whole way through each season. In terms of "reality competition" type shows, I prefer shite like the MTV Challenges and more entertaining shite like that.

Stop trying to get me to watch X factor.

Ain't nobody got time to watch The Voice, America's Got Talent, X-Factor, American Idol, etc... pick one and go with it.

It depends on who it is. Someone like Danielle from last year...she was obviously awesome and a legit threat to win it all, so even if she had an off week (which she never truly did), I'd keep her because of potential/big picture. Other people can be week to week, especially people who are borderline. And sometimes your overall body of work can hurt you, like with that black dude a season or two ago...Trevin? He started the show so awesome and had a good battle, but then slowly got worse and worse each week and eventually didn't deserve to be there anymore.

Exactly. That's what I did. I liked the premise of the show, and decided to give it a shot, and so I just stayed with it. The last couple of seasons have seen my interest waning, but this season has picked up a little. I do like how this show doesn't just try to make people look like idiots all the time and isn't just straight up mean (like AI was/is I guess?), and I also like how everybody on here can at least sing a little bit. It's not like they just have open auditions to the public and every idiot who can make noise come out of their mouths gets a chance to perform. So it kinda steps up the talent from the get go.

Some of my friends used to LOVE American Idol and watched it every night it came on, but it was just something that I could never get into. I usually just go back and catch clips of a performance here or there if I hear that someone was good on one of these shows (like that Diversity dance group that was on Britain's Got Talent a while back, for example).

I mentioned it was one of my favorite songs when he played last night.

The performance was really good. Wasn't knocking it. The iTunes is just awesome. I guess it's just a hard song to cut short.
