Always said I'd pull screen off of house windows and put it to use. Things like baseball catcher gear would also be valued.

This. Even carpet turned inside out and stitched together can protect you from bites.

I originally thought a supressed 22LR but after giving it some consideration a 22LR semi auto just isn't reliable enough. I don't care how great your 22LR semi is you will get an occasional FTF or FTF or FTE because 22LR ammo just isn't very consistent. It also might not penetrate a thick skull if you don't hit it straight on. Shot off center might just glance off the bone. So maybe a suppressed MP5 instead.

Katana takes skill to use. And in real life isn't going to lop off heads like they show in a TV show. It also requires upkeep. So I'll go with something simple like a War Hammer.

If you're a white guy with a good agent... that's your best weapon on that show.

War hammer is the correct answer for a non firearm. Like the one pictured above, not a giant two hander. Preferably 3-5 feet long for reach purposes.

No worries about keeping it sharp, has multiple uses besides killing zeds, no real training needed to be effective.

Morning star / mace is another similar but good choice, without the reach it is a bit dangerous however.

In the book World War Z, the Army was issued "The Lobo", which turned the tide in the war...

Zombies as far as the show has been don't have elevated strength or fangs. Cover your body in something human teeth can't bite through and you'd literally never have a problem. It's infuriatingly stupid.

Seriously, something like jeans and a leather jacket or Kevlar (not a vest the fabric) and ypur golden, though i'd probably move north from Georgia so i never thought about wearing shorts or a t shirt.

That is sweet.

And about all the kitana talk, could one really slice through a bone skull the way mich does on TWD. Seems to
Me it would get stuck like an inch or two in. Then you'd be forced to pry it out while another zombie sneak bites you.

I actually have one of those. Bought it for a costume. It cost about $10 on the internet, but it's a hell of a lot sturdier and sharp than I thought it would be.

Potato Cannon...not gonna make much noise and don't have to get close to the
walkers and highly Doubt you'll run out of ammo.(you could always put other objects in if
you can't find spuds)
