Since Tim Allen has announced that the next season of "Last Man Standing" I hope the finale is memorable.
I struggled to get through last season.

All of my mentions have been mentioned:
Six Feet Under
Fringe
The Wire
Are probably like 1-2-3 for endings.
Buffy, Scrubs, Friends, Frasier, X Files Next
I'm one of the few but I liked BSG's ending a lot.

Six Feet Under
Truly one of the best endings of all time.
Do you have to watch the whole series all the way through to really “get” the finale? I tried to make it through the whole series but it just got sorta eh for me at about season 3. Always wanted to power through as people constantly talk about the finale, but never got around to it.

I will probably get shite on for this, but I really enjoyed the Lost finale. It was super emotional I thought.
And regarding Lost overall, the questions about the Island were great and interesting, but I always thought the best moments in the series were the emotional ones.
Like The Constant ending, or when Des gets on Penny’s boat, or even when Jack asks Kate what was the first thing they said on the island when he was doing Ben’s surgery.
Lost did such a good job of making you care about the characters. And those moments paid off big time IMO.
The finale hit on all that minus lots of the island questions

Bizarro world, but we agree. Save with Sayid ending up with Shannon (they butchered his character in the final season), yeah it was about as perfect of an ending as I was asking for.

We agree on grandparents dying also, and agree on Sayid.
In reality, Boone should have been with Sharron actually

Another 100% agreement.

Parks & Rec finale
I’ve seen this a few times here and don’t get it. I love that show. It is a definite top 5 comedy for me. But I thought the finale was just okay.

We actually also agree on politics mostly minus Maher.
But I wonder if their idea was you had to be on the island. Because Locke should have had his old lady with him instead of being alone. And obviously Sayid with his Iraqi lady.
But I don’t think Penny was ever on the island unless she was born there.
So in a round about way, Locke probably should have been with Walt in that view.
Regardless, it’s a top 3 finale for me based on what I thought really mattered.

Cheers and Justified.
Not because the episodes were that good. Diane was a horrible person. But the last act/scenes of both series were done so well.
Not many other shows ended as satisfying as those two.

Cheers (Sorry, we’re closed)
Fringe
The Office was perfect.
It’s polarizing, but I loved the Lost finale.
Maybe not the episode itself, but the ending montage in The Wire is amazing.
Breaking Bad finale was legit.
The Wonder Years may be GOAT.
Scrubs was perfect as well.

She abandoned him. I’m cool with Locke being alone in the end.

Nadia never did abandon him though. Sayid was beside her holding her hand as she died. It’s the thing that pissed me off the most about the final episode. In the chapel Sayid should have moved on with Nadia, Boone should have with Shannon (as gross at it is, but shite we’ve had Game of Thrones since then), and Locke being alone is fine. I’m really pissed off that a two week fling that Sayid used to get laid overwhelmed his entire arc to find Nadia. shite if that’s my afterlife just being with a two week lay I lied to... that’s going to suck

I don’t think it really matters if you were on the Island. The implication is that the Island is the cork that holds Hell back. If Jack had failed, the flashes of Season 6 would not have happened. But Nadia should have absolutely been at the church in the end as well.

I look at it as Walt led the next few generations after Hurley. As soon as Hurley wanted to leave the world, he made Walt the next “Jacob”.

And also this one hasn’t been mentioned, but I do think Avatar has one of the great finales of all time. First off there is Aang vs the Fire Lord which is epic in its own right. But then you have the final duel of Zuko vs Azula. I don’t think even with the Mountain vs the Viper that Game of Thrones was able to capture such an epic duel, and the Hound vs the Mountain in the end is simply hollow and simplistic compared to this duel. The duel only lasts for about a minute and a half, but it’s more meaningful than anything Cersei and Jaime did for the final 2 fricking seasons and is as epic as the final duel between Luke and Vader despite being brief. It’s a duel that perfectly encapsulates “Brevity is the soul of wit”.

Wife and I just binge watched Las Vegas. Really enjoyed watching it again (James Caan was grea) but the finale was absolute crap.
Hawaii Five-O reboot finale was pretty good.
I'm one of the few that the Seinfeld finale has grown on since it first came on. I enjoy it now.
