I thought it was awesome! 90s and nostalgia and dinosaurs!
The Ind. rex was badass and I jizzed when Trex came out to fight the Trex. Mosasaurs was cool, wish they had titanboa and supercroc in next one.
I want to frick Claire. and Chris pratt was good. but he is n too much stuff.
But using dinos for military is just stupid

That's the major stupid issue in this movie I couldn't let really slide. He never once explained the military use for these animals, and then goes even more crazy when he proposes they could send the iRex out on missions. Unless you're a completely depraved sadist that just wants to unleash raptors and iRexes on the Middle East to blindly kill as many men, women, and children as possible, I see no military application for these creatures that a bloodhound or a drone couldn't do.

Bryce Dallas Howard sure looked hot in that tight top

Yeah that killed it for me. So you're gonna send some raptors to the Middle East to start eating Jihads? Those raptors would be dead so fast
Posted on 6/16/15 at 10:31 am to PapaPogey
I'd bring the pterodactyls to the Middle East to kill Jihads

This will probably be a legitimate complaint soon enough but not really the case right now. He has been in three hits in about three years. Lego Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy and now Jurassic World. Certainly not oversaturated by hollywood terms.

To be fair he did.
He explained that they would be able to sniff out and find insurgents hiding in deserts and caves. Also, that they would be completely expendable and could have a bomb detonated to take out targets if they got in trouble.

I agree, it was even demonstrated to the PMC folk that Pratt barely had "control" over the raptors. Yet they were full speed ahead on that idea, hell even the guys premise of shrinking the iRex is insane

I also laughed when the raptors took off out of the cages. They were jumping logs, branches, creeks, etc and seemingly hauling serious arse. Well what do you know, 2 motorcycles and a fricking Mercedez hot on their arse through all of that. I know it's nit picky and still enjoyed the movie, but that made me chuckle a little bit.

As I said, blood hounds. Plus how are the raptors supposed to get the scent of a random terrorist they are looking for? Even if they do find a scent of a random human, who is to say they won't be hikers or a random hermit they maul to death? Finding someone by scent has to be pretty immediate, and you just can't tell them to find a terrorist. Plus I can't imagine that breeding and feeding a raptor is cheap.

They had the same concerns with dolphins targeting ships and subs with bombs. They continued with the research though.

They had cameras attached, not a stretch for them to give commands via remote as well.
(Though those head gear wouldn't disappear when the Raptor-Rexes went into cammo mode.)

Saw this today, was about as stupid as I expected. It was entertaining but has no real replay value for me.

As I posted in another thread, I haven't been to a movie in 7 years, and I'd go see this again.

This movie gave me some thunderous shots in the nostalgia feels.
When they found the old building, and the kids were looking at the painted tapestries, all I could do was sit back and remember seeing them 20 years ago in the theater. And when a slow piano started playing the original theme song, I almost .
I loved JW, and it was a blast to see and really honored the original movie.
Completely agree with this. When she lured out the original T-Rex from the first Jurrasic Park movie. I did have tears running by down my eyes and felt like I was a kid again watching the rest of the movie on the edge of my seat. Can't remember the last time I could say that about a movie. So yall can nick pick at all the bad dialogue and plot holes you want. The kid in me loved that movie and that is what the movie watching experience should be all about.
